Does he stay in Europe or come right away? If he comes right away, does he play in the D League (I don't like this) or play for us? If he plays for us does he play significant minutes?

These are all serious questions and I'm not sure that anyone has the answers to them right now. That said there are many questions for anyone else we take at 3 (I personally prefer Murray or Bender if we can't trade the pick).

He already said he's coming right over. I linked the twitter posts awhile back.

It's pretty clear that he's unhappy there and wants to come to the NBA this coming season.

Agreed but idk if that's what Ainge and the Cs would want- so maybe that disqualifies them from taking him? If we do take him I can't see Stevens playing him more than 10 minutes per game and I don't want him languishing in the D league. With Murray we'd have to trade Bradley so I also don't know about that as Murray is no sure thing either.

No shock here, but I'm told Dragan Bender has indeed informed Maccabi officials he'll be leaving for NBA draft.

NBA buyout to free Dragan Bender, source said, over $1 million. He is done with Europe, not a draft-and-stash.

When does his season finish up so that he can workout for teams?

I don`t know which is better
A lot of minutes against average opponents or 8-10mpg against the big boys and focus on personal training taking advantage of the C`s facilities and personnel(far better than anything in Europe)?

But i can`t see playing draft and stash with the 3rd pick!

Furthermore, from the same guy:

Both Celtics, Suns saw Dragan Bender LIVE in Israel. Boston love him, Phoenix have strong ties with Croatia-born scout.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Buddy Hield at #3 confirmed.

... and there aren't any other major moves, then I am NOT renewing NBA League Pass for next year.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Colangelo would be drooling over Bender too. He's an excellent drafter and I wonder if he'd think that far outside the box and try and surprise everyone by taking Bender at #1 or at least trading the # for Bender+ #2 or#3. It's highly unlikely, but it's possible.
If he sees something in Bender like he saw in Bargani we could get lucky.

Collangelo's draft history..wow.
...Wesley Person (1st round, 23rd pick)
...Michael Finley (1st round, 21st pick)
...Steve Nash (1st round, 15th pick)
...Stephen Jackson (2nd round, 42nd pick)
... Shawn Marion (1st round, 9th pick)
...Jake Tsakalidis (1st round, 25th pick) - okay that was a miss Michael Redd would have been better.
...Amar'e Stoudemire (1st round, 9th pick)
...Zarko Cabarkapa (1st round, 17th pick) - okay another miss David West, Kendrick Perkins or Kyle Korver were on the board
...Luol Deng (1st round, 7th pick)
...Nate Robinson (1st round, 21st pick) and Marcin Gortat (2nd round, 57th pick)
...Andrea Bargnani (1st round, 1st pick) - miss LaMarcus Aldridge obviously better but this was Toronto.
...Roy Hibbert (1st round, 17th pick)
...DeMar DeRozan (1st round, 9th pick)
...Ed Davis (1st round, 13th pick) - miss Eric Bledsoe, Avery Bradley
...Jonas Valanciunas (1st round, 5th pick)
...Terrence Ross (1st round, 8th pick) - Should have picked Andre Drummond
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

I think he can step into the 2nd unit straight away. In this squad I think he'd only get 10 mins or so but I'd only expect Simmons to get more than that given our situation.

I think the biggest benefit of coming now is to give him an NBA training regime at a time when his body is primed for development. He's a pretty ideal fit for Brad so I'd love to see what he could do.

Bender will play in the NBA next year, hopefully in Kelly Green. If anyone knows when his season ends, allowing him to come over for workouts, that information would be worth a TP!
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

They play now the quarterfinals. Macabi should reach the final. I`d say at least two more weeks
