I think he wants no part of the pick.  He is trading it.  Specifically, he's trading it for Love or Okafor.

These are two on a very short list I'd trade the pick for.  Primarily because they are currently the best offensive big man  and the best one future wise.

And perfect fits for Brad and his system.  Both fit in well, team wise.  Far better than Ingram or Simmons.

I really believe Hield at #3-6. He'll please the coach being ready and he's a 6 ft 5 guard that can shoot with a high motor. If we got lucky with a top 2 I do worry because of Stevens being ipatirnt , that we'll make a mistake trading the pick.

Gosh, for the love of everything that is good and holy, anything but this.

I mean, I 'm ok with trading the pick, but not for either of them.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

I could see a swap coming draft time where we get one of these guys and pick up a later pick where we grab a guard as well.  Simmons or Ingram going to Philly, Orlando or Chicago or a team like that.  To get Love it's going to be really complicated.  We could really just swap with Philly.

I do believe Ainge does want love or Okafor though.

I think we overthink this stuff sometimes.  If Danny gets a top-2 pick, he's taking Simmons or Ingram, period.

Both guys have skills I think Danny would gravitate toward.  Does he want an athletic big man who has savvy passing skills, or does he prefer a lengthy wing who can shoot?

Love I get, despite his lack of defense.  I'm less sure about Okafor.  How is he a great fit in our system?

This corroborates what I believe: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/241925/Celtics-To-Target-Backcourt-If-Pick-Falls-Outside-Top-2

All speculation at this point, but Murray and Hield are the most logical options if we pick 3-6.

If the Celtics were to trade for Okafor it would be to ship him off for Porzingis or in some other trade.  He does in no way fit what the Celtics appear to be trying to build.  Ainge is likely very interested in Bender or possibly Ellenson if he thinks they project as stretch bigs that can also defend their position reasonably well.  Hield and Murray are also likely as perimeter shooting has got to be on the priority list.

Would love to see the C's get #1 and trade down to #3 or #4 + Okafor.  Then ship Okafor to N.Y. for Porzingis and draft Bender or Murray or Hield.  Conserve cap space and develop until next year,  then hit free agency hard in 2017.

And we're off on another summer of Love talk.  I'm so done with this topic.  Move on please, I in no way want him here.  Pass, pass, pass.

Danny the type of guy to take Brown top 2 smh.

I can see that for some weird reason.

Yeah it REALLY scares me. Especially after we heard he wanted Winslow at 4.

I don't get it. We need offense. Not more inept offensive players who are only known for defense.

Brown isn't even known for his defense. It's OK, but nothing like Winslow.

I'm not worried about Danny blowing the #2 pick though. I'd be more concerned at #3-4 that he'd take Hield. More likely he takes Dunn there, which I wouldn't mind quite as much, but then again Dunn is a really awkward fit in our backcourt.

If Danny takes Brown at 2 or even 5 I think there are going to be some very salty Celtics fan. My
ideal draft scenario is we take Ingram at 2 and then grab Labisierre at 16 and then trade our 2nd rounders and 23 to go up and take Malik Beasley. Trade for Monroe or keep the top and trade the rest for cash. Trade Bradley annd a couple of more pieces to Milwaukee.

PG: Isaiah Thomas
SG: Malik Beasley
SF: Brandon Ingram
PF: Amir Johnson
C: Greg Monroe

I think the team above doesn´t make the playoffs next year. I also feel like the Bradley and pieces for Monroe trade is bad for Boston.

Bless up. Please, Danny, don't take Brown
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about
