 In 2007 if Garnett never comes can we squeeze even 1 title with that team?
 Keep in mind Bug Al went from 16 ppg with us to 23ppg in Minnesota in just two years. The next five years for Rondo were also his best.

-Ray having his only year with the C's where he played like Prime Ray Allen
-Ryan Gomes to provide more relief at PF especially if Leon Powe's injury still occurs

I think it's possible.  Certainly would have gotten to the finals -- only reason we didn't beat Orlando was our frontcourt was whittled down to Perk, Big Baby and Mikki "Don't come around here no" Moore

Yup, and that player was Pau Gasol. No way to determine the impact he would have had, bud he was no scrub either. And if you want to play captain retrospect Gasol would have cost us less.

I wouldn't trade the KG experience for anything, but if you really want to rewrite history in a "what if" scenario, theoretically player x would have also been younger than Garnett, extending that teams window.

Not sure you could somehow keep Ray Ray from realizing Rondo was a (fill in the blank) though

I remember debating this during that summer. I was convicted that the player we needed was Lamar Odom. Who knows how time and fate may have played out had we managed to get him (he may not have become involved with those Kardashians, may not have started in on drugs, etc).

But I think in retrospect it is clear he was no KG.

I never thought it would be possible. I've since learned that, "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!!"
