1 or 2 Ingramm.. durant clone, maybe not as good but good enough
16 Valentine... turner with a bettet shooting and rebounding ability
23 maker... from bust to stardom can be everywhere.. i like a gamble here
31 stone or jones someone will fall there.. need a big body
And yes if we could take these guys i would not mind letting turner young jj sully zeller go...
Stay away from bender sabonis zubac... if he actually stays take papagiannis with 51... great body strength  speed for hs age...let him work in europe for 2-3 years
Hope we get the a top 2 pick... we need something more than smart this time

I am down with this scenario if we cannot get Durant ( I honestly think we have no chance and he stays in OKC ). While not an immediate contender if Ingram/Simmons is legit and they develop, we're probably 2-3 years away from making conference finals.

I like Valentine, not sure how good is Brad Stevens in recruiting talent but he recruited Valentine to Butler before. Good size SG, supposedly very similar to Turner, if production is similar then he comes in very cheap, I like that a lot as it gives us options

Maker at 23 is intriguing...at 23, what are you really drafting for? Not a superstar or probably someone who makes an immediate impact. But at 23, gives us a year or two window to develop and see what Makers can give us. He's a Fab Melo/James Young type for me - someone drafted after another first rounder (Melo after Sully and James after Smart) and as a project. If it works cool, if it doesn't meh, he was a project anyways

Honestly as long as we satisfy the following:

Ingram or Simmons
Valentine or Luwawu or Skal
Maker

I'll be happy.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

This would be ideal.

Thon Maker looks like a great prospect at 23.
From the combine interview he seems to love the game and studies it.
High motor, intense player. Gets after it on D.
Promise of a jump shot.

What more could you want for a prospect's building blocks.

I don't think he will be there at 23.
Likely gone in the late teens.

I'm doubtful that Valentine has the athleticism to cut it at the next level.  Skillful, but maybe more of a nice college player who is worse at the pro level.  Maybe he'll prove me wrong.

At 16, I'd rather go for upside, or make a trade up into the top 10 for a second lottery talent.

Or trade #3+#16+salary for one of Butler/George/Cousins/Griffin.
