A lot will depend on free agency. We will probably have room to bring ET back for the Early Bird exception even if we get two max players. That exact dollar amount won't be known until the final account is calculated, but I would be very surprised if year 1 was more than $6.5 million, meaning 4 years could be worth up to $29 million.
The Early Bird rights require any deal to be at least two years, not counting any options. If ET is willing to come back for that, I'd be pleased. If some team offers him $10 million a year, we can't compete. I don't think he'll get that much, however.
