It's been a while since we've had a player who has caused as much controversy in where he should go as Thon Maker. I've seen a few calls for him as a lottery pick, while others say he won't even get drafted. So here's your chance to earn CB glory. Where do you think he will be drafted? There will be points awarded for both timing and accuracy.

Your score = D*A, where

D is the number of days before the draft that you make your prediction, and
A is 60-(the difference between what you said and where he went)

For example, Today is May 11 and there are 43 days until the draft. D=43.
If I said he would go 20th and he went 30th (or 10th; we're using absolute value), my A score is 60-10 (the diff between my pick and the actual pick), or 50.

Final score is 43*50, or 2,150.

Yes, it seems complicated, but it's the only way that I could see that gave people extra points without the benefit of seeing what he did at the Combine.

Personally, I think he's a bust, but there's enough interest in him that a team with a few extra draft picks can shoot for the moon. I'll pick now and pick up the extra points. I've got him going to us at 35.

Early 2nd rd where you can take a gamble, but not commit to him fully with the guaranteed money a first gets.

I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I'll swing and say Memphis takes him at 17.

His best quality is apparently his crazy motor and work ethic, sounds kind of grizzlyly.

Thanks for the Maths Mikey! TP!

Think his high point could be drafted by Bucks at 10 or Suns at 13 if he can wow them in his workouts. If not I still feel Suns take him with their last 1st. He is an athletic 7' with at least some playing ability that gets you drafted round one.

His workouts will dictate where he ends up going. He's definitely a wild card as of right now, as he could go anywhere from a mid first to a late 2nd.

I really don't expect us to use our pick in the 20's, so I'll say Boston at 31 or Boston at 23 if we keep our pick, though he could definitely jump with some good workouts. We need to take a swing and some high pay-off gambles with these later picks, and he seems to be the perfect fit for that.

LA Clippers at 25.

Bonus Prediction! Brooklyn trades in to the first round to take him at 25.

Thon to the hawks at 21. That franchise is a little desperate to get that big upside player to pair for the future with Dennis the German wonder.

Either the hawks will have egg on their face, or the rest of the league will. I like the kid (from interviews, not saying he will be great) and hope that he lives up to what he could be.

**note to future lazy self, it's May 11th**

A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.

Push yourself again and again. Don't give an inch until the final buzzer sounds.
