Whoa, just saw that Qi shot 60% from 3 in the drills. I just knew he was huge -- I didn't know he shot from long range. I can't imagine he'd still be there at 16.
Maybe he'll be the next Pavel Podkolzine. Look up his pre-draft workouts.
More likely the next Bruno Sundov (Podkolzine was bigger and didn't shoot threes).
PP didn't shoot 3s in the league, but he did in his workouts. That was why he came from being an unknown to getting a ton of press. He was huge and had a workout in front of scouts where he was knocking down three after three. I think it may have been a DraftExpress write up, but that is too long ago for me to remember.
Either way, my point is that one great workout or one terrible workout is meaningless. If you've ever played this game on a competitive level, just think of it from your own perspective. Think of the best practice you've ever had, then the worst practice you've ever had. What would people say about your game if either of those workouts was all they saw.
