Ryan Anderson

I agree.

At what cost? How high would you be willing to go? Four years, $60 mil? $70 mil? More? Depending on the market for him, it could cost that much.

Completely agree that is how much he will cost. I want no part of him at that price, he is a poor defender and is injury prone.

I think we would be much better served to try and find a vet who we can sign to a short term deal in order to help us space the floor.
DKC:  Rockets

60 Million for Anderson... 3pt shooting at that position is not exactly prevalent, especially with his shot volume and convertion. The guy is good in that area, yet trash at everything else... I think the Kings will pick him up, which should be interesting.... but being the Kings, we all know where it'll all go..

No offense,  but if jimmy butler cant lead a team with Rose, Gasol, Noah, Gibson to the playoffs how does adding him to our team make us contenders? He's a nice player but he doesn't move the needle much. There are only a handful of game changers Paul George, Demarcus Cousins, KD...

We need to stop the ridiculous notion that if we add a Butler, Derozan or Barnes we've become contenders. I would rather use the pick.

I'd like to go after Chandler Parsons or Nicolas Batum. Whiteside doesn't interest me - such a big risk that he regresses after getting paid.

I'm not a whiteside fan either. Parsons, I thought I wanted after his rockets stint, but now idk. He's not that great. And Batum would be nice but he's probably staying in Charlotte.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I think Parsons is pretty good. He's had good stats his whole career. He can play some minutes the  4. Seems like he'd fit in well on both ends.

I think the C's should look into Allen Crabbe in the offseason. He could be a nice 3 and D guy coming off the bench. I know the C's have a logjam at guard position but we missed floor spacers once AB went down. He played in 81 games plus the playoffs for Portland. He averaged 26 minutes, 10 points per game, and shooting the 3 ball at 39% in the regular season. In the postseason he is averaging 30 minutes, 11 points, and shooting the 3 ball at 40%. He's a RFA but he seems like a nice piece for the C's to just look into.

He's been really good for the Blazers and they will have a TON of cap space.  Nobody is getting any of the Blazers' RFAs.

If we don't get anyone this offseason, I am fine waiting till next summer and then going for Hayward and other people (maybe Durant if he does a 1 + 1 and we show progress as a team). Hayward obviously isn't a Durant level star, but he is pretty good and I think he'd be even better under Coach Brad.
