How are you feeling heading up to the draft lottery?

Can't wait...haven't been this excited since the 2007 off season..It's our time baby.

Excited but trying not to get my hopes up- we have horrible lottery luck when the stakes are high

We'll probably end up with #3 or #4 and I'm okay with that at the end of the day

Just praying we can somehow get a top 2 pick. Please basketball Jeebus.

I'm miserable because we are probably getting the #5 or #6 pick. FML.

I have got a good feeling about the lottery this time around, top 2 pick will be fantastic.

For the sake of arguably the most important offseason in franchise history, I hope you're right.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Odds are we end up with the 4th or 5th pick. I'll be pretty bummed if we end up 6th, and beyond excited with #1 or #2, but I know that realistically we're likely leaving with #4 or #5.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I wouldn't say that. It's not like it's do or die for us, like it was for Cleveland in 2010 or it will be for OKC this offseason. Even if we strike out in free agency and through trade, we still are a playoff team with the youngest roster in the league and a ton of upcoming draft picks. It really is a win win.
CB Mock Deadline - Minnesota Timberwolves
Kemba Walker / Tyus Jones / Aaron Brooks
Jimmy Butler / Jamal Crawford / Treveon Graham
Rodney Hood / Nic Batum / Marcus Georges Hunt
Taj Gibson / Nemanja Bjelica / Jonas Jerebko
KAT / Derrick Favors / Cole Aldrich
Picks - 2018 CHA 1st (Lotto protected), none out

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
It's basically a coin flip between a top 3 pick or #4 or #5

(45%/55%)

One time let us win a huge coin flip!
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Other times, I had high hopes.

This year, I'll do something different and try my best not to care. :-X

Basically what I'm trying to do too. Though, it's really hard.

Honestly, my hopes are pretty low given our prior luck in the lottery. But that's good too as I can only be positively surprised now ;D!
