What the hell Brad was thinking? Putting KO and Sully in the same lineup killed us in this game. Our guards were doing a bad job defending the perimeter too. I can stomach the poor shooting, but not the lack of effort on the defensive end.

TP. Amir needed to be in. I had way too much of Olynyk tonight. He clearly isn't himself yet and sully was fine shooting at first but needs to keep it up. Otherwise he isn't very helpful. Amir had great games so far. This was a bad move to keep him out so much for 2 softies.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

He needs to choose between Olynyk and Sully for those third big man minutes. Having them both play is killing us right now. Crowder can't shoot at all, yet he's better than those two.

Does he really have to play either? This is do-or-die time. Play guys as much as possible. Don't hold back. If it means Amir gets >35 minutes then so be it. I do not want these softies in kelly and sully playing if they can't consistently help on either end.

I agree, but I don't know if Amir's body can handle it. The guy plays hard every minute. He's probably dived to the floor to get a loose ball this series more than Sully and Olynyk have all season.

Maybe he can and Stevens was just trying to see if those two could give us anything. Either way, I think we'll ultimately need at least one decent game from a non Jonas/Amir big.

It's one game though. If we gonna lose we might as well lose while fighting. Not flailing around acting all soft and Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. like kelly. I get he's hurt but cmon.

In the 70-29 run that occurred the problem wasn't that Amir wasn't playing enough. It was that our perimeter defense was awful, Atlanta shot the ball like they seldom ever do from outside and the Celtics went on an offensive funk.

Amir has little to nothing to do with perimeter defense. He has nothing to do with Atlanta getting hot from outside and he is one of the least important offensive players on this squad. Amir could have played 40 minutes and this team was still losing by 25+ points tonight

Net ratings in the 1st half.

Sully        +59.2
Olynyk     +20.0
Rozier      +19.5
Jerebko    -10.0
Smart      -15.7
Turner      -21.1
Crowder   -32.5
Johnson   -38.1
Thomas    -41.1

The perimeter defense completely disappeared.  In no way was Amir going to be the answer for that.

Sully played 13 minutes and KO played 10 minutes.

The game was lost when Brad decided to go small to be able to switch on everything, but the defenders weren't recovering.

Pretty sure Amir can't physically play more minutes.  Been that way all season.

He had to play him because of this
