This team needs some natural shooters.

Jerebko, Crowder and Smart are not shooters. They can score and go on shooting spurts but they can't be relied on to be dependable.

Add Olynyk to that list. He has the ability but lacks the mental toughness to keep his composure to shoot well in pressure situations.

More than shooting, the inabilty to contain P/R concerns me. Our bigs outside Jerebko and Amir look like incompetent fools.

Haven't been watching the game because I have work but looking at the box score, it looks like the TO's were just as deadly.

Poor shooting will continue to be an issue until the personnel changes
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

It's amazing how much Stevens got out of this group.

We would probably average 115 a game with a top 10 three point shooting team with Stevens offense.

Picking up 33 year old Kevin Martin in FA makes sense to me right about now.

The offense was bad but it wasn't the main problem. The defense was atrocious today. Gotta be better
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I agree the C's need to upgrade their shooting but they need players that can score in a variety of ways. The C's are made up of too many players that all score the same way. The C's are in need of a low post player that they can just dump inside from time to time. Spurs have Duncan and Aldridge, Hawks have Horford, and Cavs sometimes do it with Love. Those teams allows their bigs to get the ball with space to work to make a move and get to the bucket. The C's don't have that guy because Sully never developed those moves and Olynyk/Jerebok are shooting bigs. Smart has improved attacking his guy of the dribble in the postseason but all season it was IT4, and ET beating their mans off the dribble. The C's gotta add someone that can do that. The C's will get a lot of shots up IF they have the ball movement but it means nothing if the C's don't have a reliable 3 point threat consistently knocking it down. Like I said, upgrading 3 point shooters is important but finding basketball players who can score in a variety of ways has to supersede that.

that home crowd seems pretty important right about now. We will see what happens tomorrow at the Garden. We started out great but we fell apart. The shooting woes is definitely a problem.

Bradley is missed, pre-injured shoulder KO is missed, pre-injured Crowder is missed. None of them are hitting their 3s which has been consistent during the regular season.
