Been giving Simmons more of his just due the past couple days. These videos give a good mix of what he can do.  Looks good to me.  He's brad dougherty if he played pg? The comparisons continue.

I'm going to go down the list though and just get a better feel over time.  I've watched all of the top 10-15 or so. Plus a few others.  I still think Bender, Simmons and Ingram have the most upside as athletes.  Best combination of size and ability.   Hield is up there too and a few other guys as far as upside. This is a pretty strong draft.  Probably more very good to good prospects in a while.

[A Future of Stevens]

I'm getting more excited for simmons even though I know I shouldnt. He just has such an unreal feal for the game at his age and size. Also he is nba ready from a physical standpoint. Imagine when he gets even stronger from an nba training program?  If we are lucky enough to win the lottery, you take him and give stevens that career long superstar he deserves.

If we are fortunate enough to land the number 1 pick and do not trade it away for Cousins (can't think of another guy who would be worthy of that trade), I would be stunned if Danny did not draft Ingram over Simmons.  Simmons needs the ball too much, and with IT in the lineup, I don't think they would jell well together.

Don't we all keep talking about how Danny picks BPA regardless of the roster fit? I mean with both IT and Smart on the roster he picked rozier.

While some disagree, Ingram could become a multi year allstar. Simmons COULD become transcendant. Will it happen? Probably not, but you have to go with most upside. Even if he is going to try to flip the player at some point soon, simmons has a higher trade value.
