I'd say yes for consistency but no on talent and big time performance.

If someone asked me who was one of the biggest wastes of talent in Boston history I'd have to put Rondo up there because that guy had it all, and was just too lazy/arrogant to go from star to superstar. I truely believe if he wasn't so stubborn he could have been better than Chis Paul.

Rondo is a dead subject. I am absolutely thrilled he's wearing someone else's uniform. The franchise is better for it.

Rondo's 09-10 finals run was pretty [dang] awesome. He was our best player in the run to the '11 ECF finals too.

Too early to tell. IT has several more prime years left on what looks to be a perennial playoff team that will continually improve. He is certainly a better scorer, but Rondo was better for longer. That could easily change, though - ask me in a couple years.

No.  Prime Rondo pretty much single-handedly took the 2011-2012 Heat to 7 games in the conference finals.  He went for 21/7/11, playing almost every minute of that series (he sat out about 24 minutes over 7 games).

Prime Rondo didn't always show up, which IT does.  But when he did, he was Hall of Fame quality.

I voted yes, but mostly because IT just won us a playoff game. Pretty easy to forget how awesome Rondo was. He's still one of my favorite players.

And yet I certainly don't remember you posting anything positive about Rondo during his Prime years in BOS, from 09-12. Man laid it on the line for us many a night.

It's one thing to not like a player. That's yours and anyone's choice. But to have a bias against him (like a few others here on the Blog) is something else.

I think both point guards were in ideal situations. Rondo was a perfect point guard for 3 future HOF'ers. IT is perfect for the team we have now.
