If this club defends the way it did in the fourth quarter and overtime - all of them, from the brilliant job Smart did on Millsap getting down low and destroying his base to Thomas hassling Teague and that weirdo Schroeder to a great, GREAT job getting over the screens to contest Korver - this series is right there to be won.

It drives me nuts to see people try to boil this game down to one or two players. If you do tonight, you totally miss the point. This was a true team victory, right out of the Celtic tradition.

You saw the kind of defense tonight from these guys that Pierce, KG and that group played to win a title.

That was championship defense down the stretch.

Agreed, I felt as confident in getting stops on each defensive possession as I did during The Big 3 era. My worries were always on the other end, where I kept wondering who would score or simply IF we could score due to the lack of scorers on the team without AB.

We are certainly better on D, without certain players on the floor.   Well said, TP.

Yup. I never felt threatened by the Atlanta offense, even when Teague fired up briefly at the end.

And I never felt we could score. Had numerous opportunities to salt the game away in regulation, but we couldn't score. Too many turnovers.
