Lets say :

Worst Scenario : No Durant, No Horford, No Whiteside, only 6th pick.

Best Scenario : Durant + Horford/Whiteside, and we get the 1st pick. (can be over the cap).

Here are my ideal teams for each scenario given reasonable Free Agent signings, Draft positions and Trades ideas :

Worst Scenario:

Trade: 6th pick (buddy hield?) + other picks if needed for Middleton (amir, young etc matching salary).
Free Agent: Anderson and Mozgov (As the highest bidders).
Draft: Taurean Prince with 1 remaining first and Aj Hammons with one remaining second.

Team:
Thomas Smart Rozier
Middleton Bradley Hunter
Crowder Turner Prince
Anderson Mickey Jerebko
Mozgov Olynyk Hammons

Best Scenario:

Trade: Butler for All our picks except the #1 pick + 1 future pick + Smart, Amir, Young).
Free Agent: Durant and Horford at Max and Hibbert and Crawford (cheap ring chasers).
Draft: Simmons.

Team:

Thomas Crawford Rozier
Butler Bradley Hunter
Durant Crowder Turner
Simmons Jerebko Mickey
Horford Olynyk Hibbert

(or Whiteside instead of Horford if Simmons shows signs he can shoot a little).

What are you Ideal teams under each scenario...?  :-)

If we can do your Best Case Scenario that would be the greatest offseason in history. I think best case realistic is we land Butler while giving up all our picks. Then try and bring in Derozan which is a realistic signing for the Celtics.
PG: Isaiah Thomas
SG: Demar Derozan
SF: Jimmy Butler
PF: Kelly Olynyk
C: Amir Johnson

Eh. Not huge on Derozan (these playoffs have changed my view on him quite a bit) but I guess that's a pretty good team. In that case I'd rather try for horford
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Also, technically worse case scenario would be 6th pick. 4% chance of happening lol

Not the best case scenario and not the worse case scenario could also get us a good team. There is no worse case scenario. I think Boston has all the chips in hand. A draft day trade is imminent. Its going to happen. Whether its Boogie or its Butler. It could be Love or even LeMarcus Aldridge. Spurs could use them picks with their aged veterans.

I see Danny Ainge going for gold. He's a leprechaun and keeping Isaiah-Crowder-Bradley together only sending off Smart. Imagine that ?

Aldridge
Durrant
Crowder
Bradley
I. Thomas

I wouldn't be mad if we give near max money to Ryan Anderson and trade for Middleton...
Two very underrated ballers.
I also think we need a big body down low, and not sure Cleveland can afford Mozgov so coud be a great for us.
