  • GOT IT!!!
Crowder is hurt but he's playing terrible. Shots aren't even close. IT needs help if the C's have any hope of pulling this off.

Ok.   Thomas earned his all star badge tonight.  Dude is legit.  Keep it up.

He literally carried us. Unbelievable game
Add "Ant Man" to the list of potential nicknames if we didn't already think of that one.   Little dude can carry far more than his weight.

IT put the team on his back.  That's what All Star's do.

For sure.  Huge load to carry on a 5' 9'' frame, especially when you consider that Jared Sullinger is on this team.
5'7" - and I don't even want to guess how much Sully weighs right now.  ;D

I.T. is actually 5'10" according to his draft measurements.

Horford gets away with so much...he seems to be committing illegal screens every couple of minutes and they never get called.  I constantly see him grabbing and holding guys, it's disgusting.

I know KG used to get away with illegal screens all the time, but they were nowhere near as obvious as these ones.

Horford laid out Smart a couple of times out there.

In shoes.  He was 5'8.75" and 5'9" outside of shoes.  I care about this distinction because I'm exactly as tall as IT when I'm not wearing shoes.

I always go off height in shoes, since nobody plays basketball without shoes :)

He absolutely gets away with murder on a nightly basis.  He's like big Lebron out there.

Perfect example was the Jerebko dunk in the 4th.  Blatantly obvious that Horford hit him, and even more obvious once you see it on the replay (Horford hit him on the hand, on the head AND in the back) and no call.

Boston got away with a couple of calls too, but nowhere near as many as the Hawks (especially Horford) got a free pass on.

I thought it was innocuous, but I'm not feeling good about our odds here.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Would be utterly Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. because the League office would basically be awarding the Hawks the series. That elbow didn't look good at all though.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Just finished watching the game on dvr - what a performance by IT. With Korver and Teague hitting on all cylinders, this was a great win. Whether or not we win the series isn't a huge deal, but this win means a lot and shows the progress we've made...especially with the injuries.

Definitely a flagrant, but it he barely followed through and showed no force. If Perk didn't get suspended last year, then IT shouldn't for this one - much less egregious.
