Yeah man keep the opinions coming. I like to see everyone's ideas on this. I just gave a few names but look, guys like DeMar DeRozan Beal r going to be options as well. Even if we don't score on Durrant I'd still like to see Horford, Cousins or Butler and throw in DeRozan or even Dudley. I mean u can toss in 1000 different combinations of players.

DeMar DeRozan is one name I'll be keeping an eye during the offseason. I know he's linked to resigning with the Raptors and the Lakers making a play for him. But if the Celtics can make a major play for him and sign him, that would be big for the C's. DeRozan isn't the best 3pt shooter (which the C's need) but he's a scorer, slasher, and a guard who can beat their main off the dribble (which not many C's guards can do) . One of his most important attribute that DeRozan will bring to the C's is getting to the freethrow line. In the regular season, he attempted 8.4 freethrows a game and shot it at 85%. Only IT4 got to the line 6.6 times and shot it better than 85%. The 2nd most freethrows attempts by a C's player was Crowder at 3.3 attempts a game and shot it at 82%.

I personally think the off-season plays out as follows

At lottery the Cs land pick 1 or 2, Cs keep the pick
            Draft Simmons or Ingram
            Likely loose Turner as FA
If Simmons is drafted --Sully is gone, Zeller Amir and Jerebko retained
If Ingram is drafted -- Sully is signed 2 yr deal, retain Amir and Jerebko Zeller gone
DA roles out similar roster just with a new young stud,
Simmons stars at the PF, Ingram   off the bench

At the Lottery the Cs land 3-6, Cs really try hard to trade pick
Main trade targets will be Butler and Okafor
Offer Nets pick + Mavs + Smart + Amir for Butler + Gibson
                           Turner leaves as FA
                           Resign Sully and Zeller
team makes a FA run at Horford or P Gasol
Offer Nets pick and Mavs for Okafor
                           Turner leaves as FA
Sully gone, Zeller gone retain Amir and Jerebko

Tp, CFAN38 some interesting scenarios.

I too think depending on who you get and if they stay the roster needs reshaping. But I move on from Turner and Sully no matter what.

Based on keeping the pick and not trading it.

If Simmons I agree keep JJ and AJ. I try to sign Parsons or Barnes bring Crowder off the bench. Also draft Hammons. Need more shooting.
(Starters: IT, AB, Barnes, Simmons, KO)

If Ingram I blow things up. Trade IT, AB along wit Dallas 1st, and Philly 2nd for Jabari Parker. Let Sully, Zeller, JJ and Turner go. Keep only AJ. Sign Whiteside.
(Starters:Smart, Crowder, Ingram, Parker, Whiteside)

If 3-6
Take Bender do Simmons plan above.
If Murray or Heild. Move Smart for Noel.
If Brown stay as is but try to sign Anderson.

Again if keeping the pick I do those moves.

I don't agree with blow up for Parker if you draft Ingram. To simulate as prospects.

I also do not think parsons or Barnes are good enough to warrant crowder going to bench. Parsons if healthy could be an option at the PF. Barnes will be over payed and not worth alienating Crowder

That is fine everyone has an opinion. I see Crowder as just a bench player. He had good stretches and since injury has really struggled. I think Parsons and Barnes are better than Crowder. Team needs a more consistent scorer added as well so they fit that. If you get a Simmons or Bender you aren't adding their scoring it's more play making. With Ingram its about time for him to be an impact may be too long for IT and AB to still be factors here. That is why I go those routes.
