umm crowders' defensive rotations have been horrible since the game before the injury.

If we got good offensive players at the 4 and/or 5, Crowder would look a lot better.  Plus, he usually doesn't get going until the second half.  He's being asked to do too much

That's more of a testament to Crowder than anything. Smart's younger and was already limited in his scoring, so you can't expect much from him coming back from injury. I just figured Crowder would be better than what he's playing right now, even with an injury. He's been bad defensively, too, which Smart was still effective at. I think his ankle is worse than he's letting on.

What? People on this board never complained about his defense. First I'm hearing of it. I don't think he's untouchable, but I'm just making a point it's hard to judge him right now as a player.

I think Stevens has to make Crowder a PF for the rest of the series. Just too limited to defend out on the perimeter against quicker players + too limited offensively to play alongside two big men. It's putting too much pressure on the rest of the players in the lineup.
