Looking for a list of best front court rebounders of the 2016 draft.  Ideally that avg 10 plus a game.

No particular order

Simmons
Sabonis
Brice Johnson
Ellenson

Who else?

Rabb's good, and I think he'll get better when he bulks up.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

DKC Clippers

I can't folks want to draft a guard after nights like tonight, kudos for showing a position of need.

Diamond Stone can rebound. I'd put him ahead of a lot of the guys.  Sabonis is a well rounded center and good rebounder not a great one.  He's going to take a bit.

I'd say Stone, Ellenson, Simmons.  Bryce johnson has some shawn marion to him but I'll believe it when i see it.

not great but solid. 17 rebounds vs syracuse (against considered more athletic and longer players) is not too shabby eh?

Diamond Stone lacks a good motor . I would stay away

I don't disagree.  Stone is like Sully but with less of a motor at the college level.  Sully had a good motor in college and still does on rebounds.  Stone I haven't seen a ton of to be honest. I'll go watch now but he reminded me a bit of a poor mans randolph who could bust though.

just watched stone. his motor looks pretty good to me.  I dont think he has that much versatility though like randolph does.  Most of his points are on putbacks and rebounds and hustle.

One thing Sully does is box out which you don't see. I dont even see Stone doing it.  I see it more his motor.

That's one game from STone though where he was clearly on fire.  I dont know what his motor is like game to game.

I feel like if we replace Sully it will be for a guy like Kevin Love and not in this draft. Or even cousins.  I dont necessarily see Sully going anywhere though.  We might try to add a guy like Horford but who knows.  A lot of rumors out there.

Anyways Stone seem to like to sit in the paint quite a bit.  He doesn't seem to have much of a game outside of that.  He stands in the same spot and just hustles. He's good in like a small space right in the middle. He goes right to the same spot on offense every time.

Danny Fortson was like that and was a bust in the nba.  He had a few good years but really was a one trick pony.  Stone looks a lot like him.

I feel like Skal will make a good rebounder in the nba because of his quick leaping and big hands.   Larry Sanders and guys like that are good rebounders. So is Whiteside.  They dont really box out though they more gobble up rebounds in other ways.

I haven't seen a whole lot of great rebounders so far in this draft.  Simmons is with his athleticism and smarts.

Ellenson can't jump but looks like he should be because of his motor.

I haven't really watched Poeltl yet except a few short clips a few months ago.

I like Rabb.  He's good.  Him and Sabonis should make pretty good players.

TRB per hundred possessions:

Sabonis 22 (career 21. WOW.)
Simmons 18.5
Poeltl 18 (career 18)
Rabb 17
Ellenson 16 (surprsided so low)
Stone 14
Chriss 11.

Jared Sullinger 19, Olynyk 17 for comparison.

I like Sabonis more based on these stats. Amazing he can be so effective with such short arms and not a lot of bulk... he has unreal good hands. Meanwhile, Chriss is going to be a project at the NBA level. Not sure I'd take him in round 1.
