Bradley will be out for who knows. We need someone to slow down Teague and Rozier is capable on doing that task.

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
I'd give the minutes to RJ Hunter before Terry Rozier.

As evident by this game, we need shooters. He may not be the defender Avery Bradley is (of course he isn't), but he may offer a different offensive look, as he can make 3PT shots.

Gotta play D first and Rozier won't hurt them there.  But offensively will be the problem.  Play Hunter and you feel AB's loss big time on the defensive end.

Rozier have more dimension in his scoring than RJ and not to mention better defender and rebounder.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Yeah, definitely Rozier over RJ. Defensively, we shouldn't lose much and offensively, hopefully he can get into the paint and draw some fouls. We royally sucked shooting from the outside in the first half; it was only when we started taking it to the rim did things open up for us from three. We have capable three point shooters outside of AB, they just need to actually make some.

I agree. When AB went down it became painfully obvious that we need a very quick defender on Teague. His rebounding will be key too with Smart likely expending more energy on the offensive end.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

i agree the celtics need shooters. but hunter, thus far this season, has not shown he is a shooter.

We got plenty swings.   I say, unleash Mickey.

He makes plays out of no where.   Exactly the kind of wild card we need.

His D will lead to transition O, make the hoop look big.

1-1 split is the goal still.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Rozier has earned his upkeep to get minutes over RJ Hunter.

Hunter in his last few short stints managed to hit a few 3's, but Rozier has certainly seemed more aggressive and assertive.

We need those type of players. I just don't know how well Rozier will adapt to the playoffs. Its a whole different game than the regular season.

We managed to keep it close, but we might've lost Bradley in the process. Can Rozier prove he's definitely earned his spot, and come clutch? Only time will tell.

Agreed. Rozier is made for the chaos of a playoff series.

We could use his boards. So there's that.

RJ Hunter is a shooter? We need to play Mickey, this team's worst player?

What are you people smoking?

Its the playoffs. You play the best of your best and you play them big minutes. You don't play the 13th and 14th players on a 14 man roster.

I think Rozier can do a good job on Schroeder. I like having two ball-handlers on the floor in Smart and Rozier together. I think that will work well.

Looking forward to seeing Rozier play in Game 2.
