Oh my goodness, that is huge. Ibaka straight up pushed Ginobli when he was the one inbounding the ball.

NBA officiating is so effing terrible, and how many calls now have they blown in the last two minutes that cost playoff games?

If I'm Pop I'm raising all sorts of hell about that, especially being RIGHT IN FRONT of the referee... There's going to be some hell to pay there.
The Spurs got the ball. They choked at the end. They had a 3 v 1 and blew it.

No way can you blame the refs. The Spurs blew a great chance at the end.

Yeah, I can't blame the refs for expecting them to do their jobs  ::)
I get it you want the Spurs to win cause then Durant leaves so your judgement is clouded. The refs made a decision to swallow their whistles. They could had called a bad foul on green when he got the ball from Durant. It was a mad scramble. Spurs choked.

Wow, Webber is ticked off.

Another blown call by the refs to ruin the game. That would've been game over, too. Let's see the NBA explain that one away!

WOOOOOWWWWWWWWW! He pushed him from out of bounds!

Can't watch -- details??

7 seconds left. Ibaka imbounding the ball for OKC. Ginobli was pressuring, and Ibaka straight up put his forearm from out of bounds and shoved Ginobli to the ground before he even passed. And it was right in front of the referee. Chris Webber was absolutely ticked off and called out the referees saying they should be held responsible if players are held responsible for their miscues.

This will be a major deal for the NBA to try and handle. There's no excuse why that ref should've missed that.
I can see there should be a foul but the refs have swallowed their whistles a ton this playoffs. I like it. Plus the Spurs have only themselves to blame. They benefitted from the no call and blew a 3v1. Green needs to take a few dribbles and make Adams commit instead of throwing that awful pass.

No, no, no, no, no. This wasn't as simple as a missed foul call, which could be subject to interpretation. He was inbounding the ball and shoved Ginobli. There's no interpretation or question about that. That's straight up illegal contact and incompetence by the ref, and, yes, the refs are responsible for that.

Furthermore, it might even be a technical foul, which makes a HUGE difference when they only lose by one point..

That end was a crap fest, real easy not to execute in that situation. Pop is one of the best at drawing up plays and they should have had a clear one to end the game.

I hate Westbrook. His demeanor just screams mini-LeBron.
So call a timeout. They opted for the 3v1. What better chance do they want?

You're so out there sometimes it's not even worth arguing with you.

Webber blew a gasket over it.

The NBA on TNT crew is blowing a gasket over it.

But, no, you're right. No big deal.  ::)

Having watched that replay -- that's not the refs swallowing their whistles.  You can't just push the guy in the chest out of your way so you can pass the ball, especially in a dead ball situation.  It's not like it could be incidental contact -- you're out of bounds, you can't reach two feet to clear the other guy out and push him square in the chest.  And the ref is literally right there.  There's missed calls, there's letting them play, and then there's completely abdicating your job.

Spurs don't look so tough now losing at home to OKC.

Looks like OKC will win in 6.

bull

not only is it a foul, it's a tech. He straight up threw a elbow right in the chest of Ginobili. It wasn't a bball play , he threw an elbow directly in front of the ref. That is beyond bad for the NBA.

A technical foul? That's a very emotional response to what happened. I think when you've had some time to think about this you will figure it out that the Spurs benefited with a 3v1 from that play and choked.

Was the ref Marc Davis? If so, he's got a sketchy past as a ref anyways.

Blew it...or fell victim to a crazy defensive sequence by Steven Adams? Regardless, if a foul is committed, it should be called.

People are going to talk about the pushoff not getting called (and rightly so), but it's a shame Adams' defense on that last possession will be forgotten.  An absolutely brilliant defensive possession to save the game.  Seriously, everyone go watch the replay and just track Adams.

Riiiiight. Cause you are only getting charged up cause you want Durant. We all do but the Spurs choked that last play. They aren't getting a better chance out of a timeout then a 3v1. That's why Pop didn't call a timeout. They benefitted and choked.

Green should had taken a couple of dribbles to make Adams step up.

If you're Pop, do you protest the game?

Yes. They do have some sort of mechanism to address that, don't they?

I remember Memphis won a game on a Courtney Lee layup with .3 seconds left, and some team who had Javale McGee at the time said that he tipped it, meaning time would've ran out before he could put it in. The NBA reviewed it and ruled against the protest.

I doubt it gets reversed. The Spurs got the ball. You don't get to run a play and then choke and say hey we should get to run that again cause there was a foul ten seconds ago. Not happening.
