Something that I think is interesting about this draft is that the Laker's pick that the 76ers hold is only top 3 protected. The Lakers only have a 55% chance of staying in the top 3. So there is a 45% chance that the Sixers could get say #1 or #2 and #4 or #5. For example, Boston gets #!, Philly #2, PHO #3, then the Sixers get #4, wow. This could really change the draft trade dynamics, especially in terms of the Sixers trading Okafor or Noel.
In terms of us getting the 3rd pick, it is great but I am not excited enough about any of the prospects that I wouldn't be willing to trade for the right deal. I suspect we won't trade it though. Maybe something smaller involving our other picks. For example trading the Dallas pick for a future first, just to spread things out some.
