The 82 games are behind us; we didn't see fireworks in the form of a big trade, but we had some great moments and stretches, with a solid 8 win improvement on last year's surprising record.  I'll get the obvious ones out of the way:

- Our two games against Golden State, especially the win on their homecourt to preserve the C's homecourt record.

- Last night's incredible comeback after an utter dud of a beginning.

- The even more unlikely last minute comeback at Cleveland, ending with this:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAu-pGUhLRI

What are some of your favorite parts of the last several months?

GSW win
Smart outplaying Russ
The Clippers win
I actually loved the first GSW game. Atmosphere was crazy.
The late fury to beat the Knicks was fun.
Cle win with the AB 3.

Those are the first that come to mind.

Both GSW games are at the top.

The walkoff win in CLE.

there are several, but the Oracle win stands out.

Forgot about these two.  The Knicks game was the crazy steal-fest over the last several minutes, right?

EDIT:  And that crazy finish in Washington with all the bizarre calls and Wall blowing a game-tying layup at the buzzer.

I liked when Olynyk got booed when he entered the game in Cleveland and whenever he touched the ball.

I like when Jae Crowder hit the game winner in Washington after getting a technical for yelling at Randy Wittman seconds earlier.

Those are because I like my basketball testy and played with hate!

Also I loved Reddit's fascination with "the logo" Evan Turner and his quotes:

Evan Turner on getting booed in Philly: "I don't want to sound super weird, but Jesus was hated too."

Evan Turner on his 360 dunk: "After that, I probably shouldn't make any plans for All-Star Weekend now."

Evan Turner on tomorrow's ovation: People will say it's for Kobe, but deep down it's probably for me.

Evan Turner on passing to Crowder for three: "I thought about MJ passing to Kerr. I wanted to add that to my legacy."

Evan Turner with a fan:

The April 2nd game in Oakland, no doubt about it.  Bradley's defense on Curry.

Speaking more generally, I really enjoyed all of the ways Isaiah Thomas manages to use positioning and footwork to get into the paint and score at the rim.  Never gets old.

Also, seeing Jae Crowder turn into a running back the instant he catches the ball on the perimeter with a few steps of space in front of him.  Just "pounds the hole" right to the basket.  I looked at Crowder as an ideal backup SF and at best a decent starter.  This season he shattered that expectation.

Every time Smart just gobbled up an entry pass with arms that seemed about 50% longer than they ought to be was a lot of fun too.

Finally, I know intellectually that the way Turner plays is not conducive to running a quality NBA offense in the big picture, but on the nights he has it going, his baseline fades and pull-ups just outside the paint are fun.  He does things nobody else in the league does.

  • That's turrible
GSW in Oracle
Beating Bron Bron in his own house
Beating the Pacers in January after that losing streak we had where we got 4 or 5 steals towards the end to win the game
OKC where Smart out balled Westbrook

Honorable mention goes to the first Houston game too. Avery looked like Ray Allen that game. And the entire team was having so much fun on the sidelines watching it too.

Oh yeah, that was nuts.  The Celts closed out the last two minutes with nothing but forced turnovers.  I can't remember seeing anything like that before.

I had forgotten about that one, that was pretty awesome.

That was the stealfest I was thinking of above.  Thought it might be that Knicks comeback.

...man we had a lot of nice comeback wins this year.

Deep, young team that plays at a fast pace and excels at forcing turnovers.

I suppose that makes sense, actually.

Getting the W at Oracle.
Giving Kobe a loss in his last meeting with the Celtics ever at Staples.
Beating LeBron James in Cleveland through the clutch.
Smart taking Westbrook to school.
