Getting the W at Oracle.
Giving Kobe a loss in his last meeting with the Celtics ever at Staples.
Beating LeBron James in Cleveland through the clutch.
Smart taking Westbrook to school.

I wish we saw more progression from smart.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

People brought up good games that I agree with as the big ones (Golden State and the Cavs being probably the highest).

I think two guys that shut me up some this year were Sullinger and Turner.  Well Sully still didn't get in shape but he has gotten better and added more to his game (in particular outstanding outlet passing).  He is replaceable down the line but for now he has been a big part of this team.  I also was pretty annoyed by Turner last year but this year he became much more sound as a decision maker and also improved a lot on defense.

I think my favorite thing, thinking on this year, would be the defense.  I remember from early in the year being so impressed and surprised at how everyone attacked the ball to get steals and deflections.  Of course Smart, Avery, and Crowder did, but so did Olynyk and Turner.  It really summed up how the team plays hard and together.

Beating the Pacers in January after that losing streak we had where we got 4 or 5 steals towards the end to win the game

Oh yeah, that was nuts.  The Celts closed out the last two minutes with nothing but forced turnovers.  I can't remember seeing anything like that before.

I had forgotten about that one, that was pretty awesome.

Yes, great call.  Can't believe I forgot it.  I was stunned to see a team finish another team off on defense like that and not just in a college game when a team gets pressed and can't handle it or something.  Haven't seen anything like it.

Also that Marcus Smart cobra play was pretty cool:

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Among many others, the day Brooklyn officially locked up the 3rd worst record.

Amazing season.

AB 's last sec game winner at Cavs .....the game was an amazing win ....play off drama .....Classic Celtics .....even better than Jeff Greens last second corner three to beat the Heat.

Also tied for this season.is,the unlikely upset and timely win over the unbeatable Warriors to mess up their record in their house,

The serious emergence of Crowder s game and leadership role.

IT makes all star , CBS development

The Glory of the Nets pick......our payback for letting Pierce and KG leaving .....I miss them.

All in All it's we are very fortunate to be a playoff team.....extra games for us AND have a great prospect in the draft.  Few teams get a chance at a good player and play in the playoffs with a fun team to watch at that.

You know it's a great season when we have three potential games that we could say are Brad's best wins as coach: the wins IN Golden State AND Cleveland and last night's miraculous comeback. Last night just showed how much heart our guys have.

Overall, being a defense-lover I've really enjoyed watching this scrappy defense that we have. I love the physical play and the fact that this team never backs down from a challenge. The emergence of Crowder has been spectacular, and KO's run that he had was also pretty fun, too. I wish Smart's offense would have progressed a little more this year, but it's still a pleasure to watch him play every night with 100% heart and hustle no matter the situation.

But best of all was being able to watch almost every single night and have a vested Celtic interest in the outcome of the game. Luckily, we have several more years of this, and I can't wait until the lottery, draft, and free agency. But first we must get through these Hawks in the playoffs!

This season has exceeded my expectations by far.  It is nice to be able to pull for them at all times to do well, and not worry about tanking, what with the Nets pick. What an added bonus.  Just a great regular season to follow.

I think we will struggle, especially on the boards, in the play-offs, and would be delighted if we got into the 2nd round.  Even if we don't, we very clearly are a team headed in the right direction and can, with just a couple of critical moves, compete for championships for a long time coming. I am enjoying this re-building process more than the last one, when we went from a team too young to, over-night, a team of great players who were on the back 9 of their careers. We have the possibility of building a team that can compete for many years to come.  And it starts at the top with Danny and Brad.

The 82 games are behind us; we didn't see fireworks in the form of a big trade, but we had some great moments and stretches, with a solid 8 win improvement on last year's surprising record.  I'll get the obvious ones out of the way:

- Our two games against Golden State, especially the win on their homecourt to preserve the C's homecourt record.

- Last night's incredible comeback after an utter dud of a beginning.

- The even more unlikely last minute comeback at Cleveland, ending with this:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAu-pGUhLRI

What are some of your favorite parts of the last several months?

These are the exact ones I thought of when reading the title of the thread. TP

All of those were my favorite moments this season. I'm going to try to add some that haven't been mentioned.

-The near-comebacks against the Magic and the Mavericks on the road that were done single-handedly by Marcus Smart. It's because of games like those that I refuse to give up on on Marcus Smart offensively
-The wild finish in Washington where Avery hit the huge three and Jae Crowder hit the go-ahead lay-up to overcome the Wizard's comeback and the horrible refs and Randy Whitman's trash talk to Jae Crowder.
-The Rockets game where we got McHale fired (Poor Kevin), because other than a great defensive performance, that was the night where I confirmed to myself that the Celtics were going to be better than I was expecting this season.
-Jae Crowders and Evan Turners cross-court shots that absolutely should have counted (I don't care what the rule book says)!

Those are just a few of the underrated moments of the season, but yeah, when I think about the stand-out moments. I think of the close games with the Spurs, the fact that we stopped the Warriors undefeated record (I know the record shows otherwise, but the Celtics were the ones who stopped them, not the Bucks!), the phenomenal ending in the Pacers-Celtics fame that got the teams groove back, the improbable comeback in Cleveland, the impossible win in Golden State, and of course, the biggest comeback in the 2015-2016 NBA regular season that happened last night.

What I think I'll remember the most about this season is that you could never count this team out. There were times where they got knocked down but they got right back up and fought tooth and nail for the victory. Sometimes they came back and sometimes they didn't. There were other times where the Celtics built up a lead only to have it fritter away, but they never lost their composure when they did. They follow the Patriots style of bend-don't-break, and I'm excited to know that things should get better from here.

Well done Mr. Stevens, and especially well done to you, Mr. Ainge!

All 61 Nets losses

Both games against the Warriors, even the one we lost.  The first one was buzzing, awesome game

TP to Johnny Boy and TP to BDM860 for the Washington game and the Smart Cobra play respectively, those were nice memories.  Smart in particular had one of my favorite plays of last year, as well: http://imgur.com/Jov12TA

Beating the Cavs

The Heat game yesterday
