What If the 1st Round is A Quick Out?

I can't see us winning the series anymore but I would be simply glad if we could win one game in the playoffs to get that monkey off our backs.

I feel like we would have progressed to the 2nd round
But we just we were unlucky with injuries to crowder and Bradley

When I saw the playoff seeding, I pretty much said we'd lose in the first round. Not because we're not good enough to advance, but because we just match up horribly against the Hawks, IMO. A bosh-less Heat was the ideal first round opponent. Charlotte would've been okay too.

I see us losing in 5, with the sole win likely coming in game 3 with everybody hungry to prove themselves. That said, I'm not too sad about us losing in the first round again. Winning 48 games was a huge overachievement IMO. And by making the playoffs twice in a row, this team is a legit playoff team.

The offseason is the real "playoffs" for us and I sure hope we come out as winners by the time next season starts.

The loss of AB greatly effects everything. However part of me does wonders if a sweep/continued poor showing will effect DAs willingness to make greater roster changes. Specifically with IT, if he continues to show he can't produce as a starter in the playoffs. I have always had a fear that at ITs size he can produce in the more free flowing less game planned regulare season but is to easily exploited in the playoffs. In the playoffs it may be a sad fact that he is best suited for the 6th man role, if this is the case with a demotion being unlikely I wouldn't be shocked to see IT moved in offseason.

I haven't watched Game 2 yet so this is more of a question but is there really too much to worry about so far? The results have gone with home court, Game 1 was decided by 1 point. Pretty much all the predictions before the series were this would be a slog. Well they've held up their side of the bargain, now it's our turn. We need to win Game 3 and then things won't look so bad. Eventually we will have to win on the road for sure, this series can still go the full 7 games

Every team plays harder in the playoffs and this negates one of key regular season advantages.  The post season is also more physical which makes IT less valuable.

I recommend you do not watch it, it is that ugly.

I hope we win one game that will be progress but it is looking grim, at the moment.  Still holding hope we can make it more competitive.
