I take back everything I said in the first half. What a win. Whatever happened at halftime made a difference because I've never seen a team play with more heart.

the way Whiteside toyed with us, I'm ok with not facing him.  The heat just gave up. And kept looking up on the scoreboard and just didn't care.  It was such a fraud game. But smart

You lose and grab 3rd. LOL

Never seen that before

I hope charlotte pounds them.  we win.    and Detroit pulls an upset

And Raptors prob beat pacers

Raptors vs Bulls
Celtics vs Charlotte

Incredible, incredible win, but we got screwed.

We screwed ourselves. If we had beaten Charlotte like we should have, it would look awfully different.

And I humbly apologize to the Green for having decided at halftime that it just wasn't worth it, but checking on the score all night, anyway, just in case. Sigh, karma sucks.

That was crazy.  C's good or Miami bad?  I don't know Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. is going to happen in the Playoffs.

As much as I would have liked not to be facing Atlanta in the first round, they had to go into the Playoffs with a win like this. That first half was some of the most brutal basketball you'll ever see from a non lottery team, this is at least a big confidence boost for these guys.

You think there's a chance Miami knew what was going on in Washington and decided to call it in to get Charlotte the first time around? I know players don't typically play that way, but it would almost make me feel better if they had.

Yeah C's had control of their own destiny. That's what happens when tiebreakers are involved.

Fixed.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Eh.  I don't like our chances. They know how to shut down Isaiah. And they are extremely well coached and disciplined.

I watched parts of the first half of this one, but decided that it was over. Shut off the game.

The Celtics have only come back from being down 24 at one other time in their history. My brother was at that game and left at halftime.

Wait so we do have home court though right?

Also do you guys think Atlanta threw that game on purpose so they can face us?

No. We still matchup with them extremely well, and they started losing as soon as we started actually playing. I don't think that's a coincidence and they lost on purpose. They still played all of their main guys, so it's not like they threw the game. It sucks that they're going to get away with not playing us in the playoffs now.
