38.2% shooting will not cut it in the playoffs

The Celtics shot .382 at home no less to lose to Charlotte last night.  Wow, unbelievable that the Cs were outscored in the 2nd quarter 39-13. 

Would have thought the Cs would have played a better game especially at home against a possible playoff opponent.

Great shooting (sarcasm...) from these players certainly contributed to the lopsided loss...

Smart - 1-8 (good night how often does Smart have games like this...too often)
Johnson - 1-5
Crowder, Jerebko 1-4

It didn't help that Thomas had more turnovers 6 than assists 4.

The Celtics have a chance to advance to the 2nd round but if they have too many poor shooting nights like this one, they may win a game or two but it will be a first round exit again.

Only hope is that Stevens is getting a last look at all potential first round match ups and hopefully he can make adjustments for the playoffs. Not too happy with how things are playing out this week (Cs lackadaisical demeanor, Mavs dominance), but hopefully Brooklyn stays at 3 - that is really the most important part of our future anyway.

Crowder needs to get more involved in games. I get that he's coming back from the ankle and that he's ill, but he needs to get in game shape. We will need top level contributions from everyone if we are gonna win a series.

Lin killed us last night too.  It was more than shooting, some of our D stunk as well.   But I agree this kind of shooting is  pathetic.

More reason to believe we need to upgrade our front court.
