We got a call? Is this real life?
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

I hope Danny is realizing this team needs shooters.

He did a nice job of assembling gritty bball players but we need shooters now.

We need talent. Grit is nice to an extent. You can't always win with grit. Talent wins vs grit.

Pretty abysmal night. I think I still would like to play these guys over Miami in the playoffs, though it's much closer than it was previous to this game.

This is an odd thing to say after losing to an exceptionally hard-working, well-coached Charlotte team.

I agree. But I bet he doesn't earn minutes. Those are Turner's.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Same. I'd like to see Lin if Lin can do this again. And if we get better refs.

You CAN win with grit, but you have to bring that grit every night. Our team doesn't. We think we're better than what we really are, and when we don't play a gritty game then we end up getting blown out like this.

I hope this was a big shot to our guys' arrogance, because we're not going to win anything in the playoffs without that gritty style and tough defense.

This is an odd counter argument after watching our team the whole season and seeing what happens when we lack talent.

We just need some actual three point shooters who we can rely on.

Crowder has been off. KO passes them up like hot potato. Smart can't throw a rock in the ocean 5 feet away. Jerebko is not as advertised and has been sub par most nights. ET is bad from three. Danny, get IT some help. Tired of the defense collapsing every time on him.

  • GOT IT!!!
Ok so we really don't want to play:

Cleveland
Toronto
Atlanta
Charlotte

Am I missing anyone?

Miami,  you say? We will find out soon.

Moral of this story...

I would love for the C's to play Charlotte in the first round. They'll handle Orlando and Miami just needs to lose in Detroit. One game doesn't mean anything. I'll take the matchups over what happened tonight. Would be a fun series none the less.

We cant be mad or disappointing right now, Brooklyn just lost. Grass is greener on the other side.
