The normally reliable IT has really struggled. When that happens the C's most nights will suffer. Tonight is no exception. This is one of those nights when that extra scorer we always talk about was needed.

Hope and pray the Celts don't face the Hawks in the post-season.

It won't be pretty.

Miami gonna be tough with Chris Bosh coming back.

Not sure where you got that from, but I'm pretty sure he's not coming back.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Disappointing loss and there goes the 3 seed.

The offense was just bad the 2nd half.

ATL also shot an insane % from 3 tonight.

Sully and IT gave this game away. Absolutely pitiful. Thomas is absolutely horrible tonight.

And Brad screwed us over by not keeping the ball running through Smart.

I've said it all along -- we must upgrade from IT. He's too much of a liability defensively, and he's a horrible decision-maker for a point guard. He should be the sixth man, because that's what he's built for. Tonight shows exactly why.

I actually agree Thomas should be coming off the bench ideally, but I don't want to get crushed on this board.

I'm not sure going small was a good idea. It was a gimmick move, worked, and then was countered because atl also has a good coach.

In the meantime,  it left our bench depleted.  Especially because CBS refused to play our young players big minutes.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

Really? I just don't see it. They just seemed to be hot with their shots tonight.

IT was playing bad

Why not go with Smart ?  When he is finally on his game ........

I don't get the logic in leaving a struggling player in .

Such a frustrating game, and the fact that it had so many ramifications for the playoffs makes it worse.

We'll still be in the fourth seed most likely, but we'll need to take care of business against Charlotte on Monday.

Where does the Celts defense rank league wide over the last couple of months?

Seems to me the defense is nowhere near where it was earlier in the year.

well, the suns won.

So the C's are in sole possession of the third pick with 3 games to go...
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier
