I remember watching him on TV and impressed with his size.  I guess scouts have dismissed him due to his age.  Worth looking at for sure. Wonder where is listed in mock drafts.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Gets a lot of knocks for having a poor motor.  Skill set is there though.

2nd round pick take the risk. He could hassan Whiteside it

Huge body , coordinated. Has some good skills.  Just mental part is his biggest minus. Also fat content is high

Hammons is to big and to effective not to find a place in the league. However his lack of foot speed will likely relegate him towards the bottom of someones bench. I would not shy away from drafting him in the in the early to mid 2nd round.

I am also really high on his teammate Caleb Swangan who has declared for the draft without an agent. I made a topic last month on how he may be a great early second option who could be a Sully like big man.

Down the road Issac Haas who others mentioned could also be a good bench big. He is really raw but huge at 7'2 292 and plays with a great (all be it out of control bull in china closet) motor

As I've said in the other 5-10 threads about AJ Hammons since his freshman year -- this guy has no motor.  I will be shocked if he has something that resembles a successful NBA career.  At his size and skill he should have been a Naismith award finalist.  Instead at one point this season he got moved out of the starting lineup.  No thanks, not even with one of our many seconds.

I don't think we're talking a first pick, or even a second. But don't forget we have late round picks too. Maybe worth a late round pick, if he's still around.

Assuming we keep our second rounders, most of them should be used on bigs. Sure, bigs that end up in the second round will have a far from perfect record, but even if one of them turns out to be a sleeper, it will be a huge step towards balancing our roster.

Not too shabby, but sadly, many 7 footers are leg injury prone
