Not an example of vision there, but Marcus has been displaying some terrific courtvision and passing ability lately.
At this point he rebounds at a high level defends at a really high level and passes/distributes at a solid level he just needs to score.
I can't help feeling the scoring aspect will come along if he's given more of a chance to be the primary ballhandler for significant stretches at a time. I think it would be ugly sometimes, but overall he'd develop more confidence and rhythm.
Smart's probably never going to be a consistent shooter from outside. Casting him in an off-ball role probably exacerbates that because he has to take shots off the catch when the opportunity presents, as opposed to getting himself into rhythm by choosing his shots in the flow of running the offense.
