Mahcus is really just a consistent jumper/3 point shot away from being an All Star caliber player.

Dude is all energy, unselfish and just a flat out competitor. Bummer that he still can't shoot. Celtics should hire whoever taught Kawhi Leonard how to shoot and coach Smart.

Really good take by Marcus, it just didn't go. He's showing some really good signs tonight.

I don't see where people say Smart isn't a point guard. 5 assists already tonight, and he seems to always make the right play with the pass.

Agreed, love the way he's playing. Looking like a true point (5 assists already)

I'm starting to become more of a believer in Giannis. Look how much different this Bucks team is without him.

I was skeptical of the Giannis as point guard thing but he really moves like a much smaller player.  They need to figure out their spacing, add a decent 3-and-D guard to man the point, maybe swap out Monroe for some players who fit better.

But Middleton-Giannis-Parker is a legit trio to build on.  I'm excited to see where this team goes from here.

Gotta say, I'm watching this game and imagining what the Celts would look like with Ben Simmons playing the Giannis role.

Smart's passing has impressed me lately.  His touch and instincts are really improving there.  Dare I say it reminds me a little bit of Kidd?

Problem is his jumper is just ... gone.

Smart seems more and more like the answer to the question, "What would happen if an NFL strong safety played in the NBA?"
