Isaiah Thomas sets Celtics record

First off, can you guess the record?







According to ESPN, Isaiah Thomas just set a C's franchise record last night by being the team's leading scorer in 15 straight games.


It's one of those things that doesn't seem right, as you think surely Pierce, or Bird, or Havlicek would have had a longer streak at some point.

But then you think back about some of the players Bird and Havlicek played with.  I'm sure guys like McHale, Parish, Cowens, White, etc. had a big game every now and then.  Then I checked a few box scores where I thought Pierce might have it, sure enough you have a random game where Ricky Davis, or Raef Lafrentz, or Wally Szczerbiak went off for a big game.

So congrats to Isaiah on his franchise record.
