If I were getting minutes with the Celtics I'd be trying too, doesn't mean I should be getting minutes.

it's a good thing that he is trying to be aggressive. The past few games he hasn't been showing much. It's sort of a love hate relationship at this point. There are times, I am glad he is helping but most of the time I hated him. If he isn't trying different things trying hard to secure a spot on the rotation, based on his actual minutes and people in this forum, it would seem everyone would want to see him completely replaced by Mickey.

I always think Zelker is trying to do too much. Wish he would just keep the ball moving most of the times.

He could however use some aggression on the boards. He hardly ever rips a rebound down. It's either him slapping at the ball or hoping that it will fall to him.

I'm sure fans of every team in the NBA thinks the same thing about their backup Center 9-10 guy in their rotation. My expectations aren't very high for that spot as long as they plug the hole with someone serviceable I'll live. Zeller might not set the court on fire but he is serviceable on most nights he plays.
ok fine

Shoots every time he touched it.  Seems about the same to me.

Still a soft a**

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would

Tyler is what he is. It's unfortunate he is not playing as well as last year. Brad has moved away from trusting him. Part of the problem was David Lee's presence meaning one guy would eventually not be able to play. The same thing happened last year with Brandan Wright.

Add in Jerebko and an evolving league, Zeller might be experiencing what Kendrick Perkins did. The league changed and he didn't and that was that.

Brad waited too long to try Jordan Mickey. It's obvious Jordan should be the fourth big, but it is too late in the season to be experimenting. This is why Brad is going to go with Zeller, the known known, and Jerebko, to be the fourth big. Maybe even Crowder when it's total small ball.
