i think i have noticed avery taking it to the hoop off the dribble lately is there a stat guy or another poster that sees this also-
is it another area he is getting better at or is it just what the defence is giving him due to spacing
 avery is on my list of underated players -his offence and defence together put him a notch above alot of more colorfull guards-
avery is young and improving and his defence can't be taught
when avery ,smart and crowder play together, we have witnessed some extraordinary defensive comebacks-just the magic of defencive will and its collective effect
i can't imagine how good our defense could be with a agile rim protector

I've noticed Avery actively looking to drive the ball lately as well. However it seems to hold true for Smart and Kelly as well. I'm thinking Brad is encouraging these guys to drive the lane more because come playoff time chunking up 3s will get us wiped.
