Using Draft Express as a guideline use our picks right now  we have the 4th,12th, 24th, 31st and 35th picks, also later seconds but let's focus on these five picks.

Do anything you like with the picks package then and move up or down, but use D.E. as a guide to where the players are likely to fall.

No trading picks for Veterans here. Pick your favorite players from this draft.

At #31 I'll take Brice Johnson what a value at that point. Sean Marion Light IMO.

I trade back from 12 to 16 and select Denzel Valentine we trade 12,23,35,50, for the 16 and 17th picks.

 At 17 I'd take Sabonis.

At four I'll take Buddy Hield. Ideally I'd move back a spot of two and take Hield, but I'm fine drafting him at four.

Sabonis
Brice Johnson
Denzel Valentine
Buddy Hield
Terry Rozier

Throw in Mickey and that's one hell of a B Team.

There are so many possibilities. Let's go all upside.

 Jaylen Brown #4
Skal or Ellenson or Rabb whoever slides we can get at #12

Diamond Stone Celtics pick. Right now Draft Express has Stone going to the Celtics at #24 overall, and again we could move up to grab him with all the seconds or James Young lol.

 Stone
 Ellenson
 Jaylen Brown

That's a sweet draft hual to add to Durant+Horford

Here's a scenario I know most of you wouldn't Hate.

We let go of all our free agents. Sign Horford and Durant and bring in four rookies. It works out perfectly numbers wise.

 Horford.   Sabonis
 Kelly.        Mickey
 Durant.    Crowder
 Bradley.   Hield
 Thomas.  Smart

Rozier, Brice Johnson, Valentine, Young, Hunter

With this team ID love to have Sully or Turner back and dump Young.

I'd do that move easily except drafting Hield and rookies other than sabonis

it would be smarter for ainge to draft and stash lower picks and round out the bench with vets
as we already have mickey, rozier, young, and hunter

And durant + horford would probably come here thinking we would compete right now
than wait for other young players to develop

You might win the NCAAs with that team, but NBA, get real.   Some nice parts but they would get  ate alive until they get some years under their belt, even then it would be dicey.

I would probably do this;
#4 - Pick Buddy Hield given that Ingram and Simmons are off the board
Trade with the Nuggets: #12, #23, #31, #35, #52 and #58 in exchange for #15 and #17.
#15 - Pick Denzel Valentine
#17 - Pick Domantas Sabonis
#50 - Pick Nigel Hayes from Wisconsin (I'm actually pretty surprised that everybody are rating him so low. I remember him doing very well with the Wisconsin team that made the NCAA finals).

I would be pretty satisfied with the above-mentioned. Probably not going to happen though ::)
Jack of all trades, master of none.

If we keep all the picks I see it as inevitable that we take some risks with European players.

I'd like to use the Cs pick and the Mavs pick to move into the top 10, maybe with an additional sweetener like Hunter. Then go for Murray or Poeltl or however it's spelt..

I know you said I can't trade them for a player but I think it's all setting up very nicely for a Demarcus Cousins trade. Amir and Jonas have their contracts set up for this and the picks are looking pretty special too

4: Buddy Hield (Win now player compared to my second choice Jaylen Brown)
12: Marquese Chriss (Could flourish under Brad Stevens, second Kawhi?  ::) )
23: Diamond Stone or Damian Jones (Whoever is available, I prefer Jones)

Trade the rest or draft and stash some players.

Sign Horford and hopefully Durant. Let our FA's go.

Thomas/Smart/ Rozier
Bradley/ Hield/ Hunter
Durant/ Crowder/ Chriss
Olynyk/ Mickey
Horford/Sullinger/ Jones or Stone

P.s maybe keep sully but only if he accepts an affordable contract

This is to many players for the Cs to use but if the roster place is there these are my picks

#4 Poeltl , I think this pick is moved but if Cs keep it despite his last game I take the big man to anchor the inside for year Bogut style.

#12 Luwawu , I know very little about him but he looks like an excellent prospect especially on defense

#23 Prince,  I would include a bunch of the later 2nds to move up the one spot if needed to get Prince.

#31 Brice Johnson, super effective explosive college big man who I cant believe will be abailable this late.

#35 Chinanu Onuaku, still a project but physical specimen of a big man who is young and showed promise.
Mavs
Wiz
Hornet

  • I'm a Paul Heyman guy.
#4 Jaylen Brown:

- I was a bit disappointed in what I saw in Jaylen Brown in the Tournament, and I really think his stock will drop, but I can't shake this thing in my head that he'll be really, really good. Ultra athletic, young, has size and length. There's a lot of really good raw materials in there to mold him into I think a bigger DeMar DeRozan who can defend (I really think so). I'd take Buddy Hield if Brown isn't available anymore and he is.

- Denzel Valentine or trade:

For our earliest mid round pick, I would like us to draft Denzel Valentine. If we missed out on him, I would like us to just trade those picks for future first AND second rounders. I don't know, outside of Valentine, I'm not sure I would like to take any of the rest of the field and give them guaranteed contracts. I'd rather have re-roll those first rounders in a deeper draft in the future.

- AJ Hammons and/or Carris LeVert

- I would like to use our second round picks on these seniors who are proven college stars. Not a lot of potential in here, but they are players who on paper would fill a need in scoring and interior defending. And, since they are second rounders, they would be very low risks to take.

- Jake Layman

- another second round draft choice I would like to take a flier on. Dude can shoot, and I think he's long and athletic enough to be able to defend decently either Forward positions in the NBA.

2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.
PG: Jrue Holiday / Isaiah Thomas / Larry Hughes
SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

I can't imagine us having more than three rookies out of this class.  If we don't consolidate picks, some of the guys will have to be stash players.

At 4, I think we have to go Hield unless something really weird happens.

At 12, I think I'd take a flyer on Chriss.

For the Celtic's pick, I'd take Brice Johnson.

That first pick in the second round is going to have a pretty good player.  I think I'd trade that for a future #1 if at all possible.

With one second round pick I'd take a shot on Wiltjer from Gonzaga and hope he might become a Korver type.  Six ten guys who can stroke it from beyond the three point line don't grow on trees and he actually has a strong mid range game as well.  Also a .85 shooter from the free throw line.  Fits in with our space offense.

Assuming the top 3 is Simmons, Ingram, Hield

#4 - Kris Dunn / Jamal Murray

#12 - Timothe Luwawu --> Stash

#23 - Juan Hernangomez --> Stash

#31 - Grayson Allen

#35 - Jake Layman

Picks 50, 52, 58 --> Draft and stash guys, doesn't really matter
