How about both?  No reason the Suns couldn't have had both.

unfortunately I would choose Booker too (by a smidge).  Kid is going to special. Klay Thompson part 2 more than likely

There is NO guarantee that Booker will EVER be an All-Star.  IT's PER is a 21.8 and Booker's is a 12.3.  Gimme a break!!!!

@Smitty77 Booker not too shabby eh?

I NEVER said Booker was shabby, but he has a ways to go to be an All-Star triboy!!  Booker is 91st out of 97 SG's in RPM.

And Booker is 97 out of 97 shooting guards in defensive RPM:

Enough said:-))

Good night:-))

Just found this on the Suns blog. Found the comment section to be some very interesting perspectives. Curious what some of you think.

http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2016/3/26/11309296/for-the-suns-would-you-rather-have-isaiah-thomas-or-devin-booker

Nice find, welcome to the forums!

IMO this is a (rather lame) attempt to retrospectively justify a bad front office decision by presenting a false dilemma: the Suns did not choose between Booker and IT when they made the trade last year. I see no reason whatsoever to compare an All-Star who plays for the C's with a rookie who plays for the Suns.

Having said this, Booker is a nice young talent, another demonstration of how strong last year's draft class is.

TP. That article is very lame. They still could've drafted a guard and probably would have since they were in love with Booker in the draft. A lot of teams were from what I remember.

Yeah, the article (likely wrongly) assumes that the Suns would still have dealt for Knight after dealing IT, but it seems unlikely.  Having IT. Bledsoe, Booker, and the Lakers pick would be much better than the Knight, Bledsoe, Booker, and the Cavs pick
I'm bitter.

Yeah.  It seems like a silly way for a fanbase to rationalize their current circumstances instead of accepting that their team is far worse off right now than it could have been if their GM didn't crap the bed in epic fashion over the last year and a half.

To be fair, many in their 'fanbase' pointed out the same false dichotomy in the comments to the article.

So the author of the article doesn't necessarily represent the thinking of the fanbase.
