This game was very ugly and disappointing. We won as expected but I thought the young guys would play and C's over all would dominant. Yuck...

you are responding to the same guy that thinks we should Tank and miss the playoffs.

I say beat the PHO out of Phoenix.

I never said that.
Why do you lie?

Yeah, you kind of did.

The Brooklyn pick is already in the lottery.
Dallas and Boston could easily fall out of the playoffs with the injuries to Parsons and Crowder.
I kind of hope it happens.

You keep lying.
I never said we should tank.
Apologize?

On a diff note, I really liked the line up with Rozier, Smart, ET, Jonas and Kelly. It did a p good job in the second quarter. Despite Kelly being nervous (and Rozier occasionally having trouble carrying the ball), the spacing was great.

I'd like to see CBS try it again in the future, esp. if the other team has no paint dominant bigs.

Your hope was kind of dashed, tho.

Threads like this are embarrassing. They are fighting for the 3 seed in the East and people want them to lose??? What is wrong with some of you?

One game could mean the difference between having a top two pick or not.

One game could be the difference between home court for a round in the playoffs.

It's all perspective.  We are all C's fans here.  But, those who are rooting harder for the Nets picks see that as a more important part of our future vs. a slightly better chance of winning a round in this years playoffs.  I mean let's face it, the C's are not winning a title this year, and can you just imagine how good the C's will be with a top 2 pick?  Again, it's all just perspective on what's more important ... short term vs. long term.  (Not withstanding the attracting free agents with a nice playoff run argument).

I've been following the Nets' pick position all year and am generally more depressed by a Nets win than a C's loss, but I will say, down the stretch tonight I was rooting hard for a C's win.

The C's can't control what happens in the lottery. We've seen in the past that getting the "better" odds doesn't guarantee you anything. BRK is going to be a top 5 worst record. Let the ping pong balls fall where they fall. They could get the 1st pick, they can get the 5th. Who knows? They can't control what happens.

They can control beating the freaking Suns. I can't wait until the regular season is over so we can just worry about playoff basketball. I'll think about the lottery again on May 17th.

Not as good as you think they will be.

Thankful that The Boston Celtics didn't get the memo.

Long story short, you can't intentionally tank a game when you're also trying to gear a team up to not only make the playoffs, but win at least a playoff series or two. It would totally undermine everything Stevens is trying to do.

If you're Danny, or Wyc, or a fan, you can hope they lose. But you can't intentionally manipulate things to make them lose.

I'm rooting for the Suns tonight.

The Suns winning or losing against us could be the difference between Ingram or Hield.

In my opinion that's a reason to root for a Celtics win.  Yes, I'm saying I would prefer to get Buddy Hield over Brandon Ingram (or Ben Simmons, for that matter).
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson
