Hield, i think. after all, isn't elite shooting the new sexy skill in the league? Ray Allen was born in the wrong era

if BPA is a guard, we've likely slipped to #5 because I think Bender and Brown would rate above those 3.  Personally, I'd trade the pick for a good vet.

I don't really think a "good vet" of the sort that would be available for the 5th pick is gonna move the needle as much as a productive, cost-controlled prospect would.

I also don't like Bender or Brown nearly that much.  The floor for both guys is just too low for a top 5 pick if you ask me.
What if you could get Favors with the 5th pick? He is better than Hordford.

I'd go for Favors there, sure.

Dunn. Definitely Dunn. All-round player. Defensive talent. Size & athleticism.

And by "mature", do you mean elite shooting bigs?

I like Hield and Dunn a lot, but not Murray.

Was on the Murray bandwagon but I think I've jumped to the Hield bandwagon now.

both are nice prospects. And Murray is still young.  But he had 3 tough finals games in a row (ok stats still). He shot some difficult 3 pt shots (went 2-10, 1-9 etc)  He was pressured and couldn't break though, especially the final game. This said, he was hounded/double teammed and in the NBA he gets to be on the court with other great players. So this gives him more space to operate.

However concerns are , can he create space. Can he lose his man like in college. He is built but has a short wingspan and 6'5 is decent size for a SG but these days 6'6, 6'7 plus wingspan is becoming the norm more and more

Hield on the other hand is basically unstoppable this year. He has the physical tools  and all of these small tricks similar to curry. He will go left, dribble right. go left again and launch the three. All of these headfakes, steps , he knows his spots well and is a deadly shooter.   Just need a small amount of daylight to get his shot off

At this rate, I'm certain he goes #3.

Hield reminds me of Redick quite a bit, actually.  Think he'll be a solid starter for years.  Worthy of the #3?  That's harder.  In a stronger draft I'd say no, but this draft appears to drop off quickly after pick 2.

Based on last nights performance against Oregon; I would definitely pick Hield over the two other guys. His shooting ability is second to none! Can't remember the last time I saw a guy shoot the ball so well in College (think it might be Curry all the way back in 08-09)
Jack of all trades, master of none.

If we draft Hield I get off my knees, do a dance, then start cleaning up the goat I sacrificed to the Gods to make it happen.

Hield is a killer in college. Can it translate? Shooting normally translates and he is shooting that rock.
