With all the rumors of Kyrie not being happy in cle, lebron unfollowing the cavs and then saying no comment when asked , and the Love chemistry thing .

Any chance Lebron bails if they don't win the title this year ?

and if so,  does Bos have a shot at signing him ?

I would rather have Durant because he is younger and his game likely ages better than Lebron

But

If Lebron comes here with another max (horford) we would definitely be favorites in the East .

I hate Lebron so much that I don't want it to happen, but then again it could be a few championships before he retires .

never happen.  can't see him living in the shadow of Larry being the greatest forward ever.   8)

although if he came here, regardless of who else Danny was or was not able to acquire, the C's would have to be the favorites in the East easily.   I think that team could give GSW a real run for their money in the finals with all the defensive guards we have.  however, a big team like SAS would cream us.

As much as it pain me to say, I'm ALL for it.  The guy is still one of the best player in the world and still has couple more championships to go, so why not do it in Boston?  In dealing with him and his ill advised way of doing things, we have to take the approach Pat Riley took with him in Miami and maybe even go further.  He has to know he's not above anyone in the organization or on the team and whatever Brad Stevens says, goes.  Those has to be drummed into him, otherwise, no.

With that said, I don't see it happening.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my

Would he be happy coming off the bench behind Crowder, though?

It would be great for the Celtics but he's not going to leave Cleveland after this...

The article is two years old........Bron Bron will do "whatever the funk he vants" (in John Malkovich from "Rounders" voice).

If Bron Bron thinks that his chances are better elsewhere, I can see him bailing.....again.

EDIT: I would puke if I had to root for him, but if he was here,I guess  I'd be doing a lot of puking.

I don't think Lebron values the kind of coach that Stevens is.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I do not agree with the thread title's premise.

Agreed, especially since we've had similar threads about Lebron possibly leaving Cleveland
I'm bitter.

The Cavs really blew it allowing Lebron to once again come in, play GM, and ruin the team. What can you do though? Would LeBron have gone back without that type of control?

Why not the Warriors? Seriously we all know LeBron will jump ship to win rings. They talk about KD but LeBron is a better fit. Can any team win a game against Curry, Thompson, LeBron, Green, and any C/PF who you feel like inserting?

I don't think Lebron values the kind of coach that Stevens is.
maybe, maybe not. i recall some arrticles mentioning how lebron was impressed with CBS.

http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/celtics/post/_/id/4719168/lebron-i-highly-respect-brad-stevens

http://greenstreet.weei.com/sports/boston/basketball/celtics/2015/04/26/lebron-james-says-brad-stevens-put-celtics-in-position-to-win/

in a theoretical world where LeBron chooses to sign here and tries to pull one on Brad like he did on David Blatt...would Danny fire Stevens or would Danny pull a Pat Riley and tells LeBron to shut up and accept Brad Stevens is his coach?

I think the latter. I think Danny is the type that values the whole team as a whole and not an individual
