This article is a seriously horrid piece of journalism. The author gives no evidence whatsoever that durant won't sign here. All he says is a KD-Celtics team wouldn't contend for a championship, with no reasoning whatsoever.

Because in that case the only two teams he could join in the east are Cleveland and Toronto,both of whom already have their top player going to free agency. And have you ever watched the Celtics play? Do you even know who Brad Stevens is? Literally you present no evidence that Durant won't sign with Boston.

Also, KD also made note of how hard the Celtics play, made note of specific players, made note of how good Brad Stevens is, talked about the culture of the franchise, how playing for the Celtics is "second to none". That's a lot different from what're said about philly.

You sound like just a hater who still doubt the potential the Celtics have. You realize the Celtics can make room for another FA, like Al Horford, this summer. Durant has been linked to Horford for awhile now, and the Celtics have a legit shot at signing both. Don't forget they also have a top 5 pick courtesy of the Nets this year. That team could surely contend for a championship"

Yeah, that's a pretty terrible piece. I don't know the web site but you've gotta have some low standards to let something like that up. There's no analysis or insight at all. It's like they asked some guy from Tulsa what he thinks about the possibility of Durant going to Boston and they just posted it.
