Young seriously isn't ready to play in the NBA and I don't think that's going to change. Did you see last night when he had the 1/1 break and lost the dribble on his own. Then later lost it again out of bounds.... He had some good looks and bombed them bad. I know he's young and everything but that 1/1 play made me look at him different. Anyone with a decent handle should of at lease attempted a shot and not fumbled it out of bounds.

Eh, I don't hold any single play against anybody.  LeBron has missed wide open dunks.

To your point though, it doesn't look good for him.  He doesn't appear to be improving.  I'm still rooting for him, but I'm not too hopeful at this point.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
I was at the game last night, once the blowout began and the game was no longer competitive I decided I would spend the remainder of the game focusing on Young. Not good, not good at all.

He played 21 minutes and had zero points.

On the fast break in question, my excitement rose, James had a chance to get an easy transition basket early in a game where he'd be getting minutes. It was the perfect moment to get an easy bucket and flow into the game. Nope, once again Young never fails to miss his few and far between windows of opportunity.

In short:

He can't shoot.
On numerous possessions missed defensive switches.
All of the rookies have passed him by.
He absolutely disappears in games.

James Young, whose confidence I'm sure is shot at this point, simply isn't an NBA player. He needs to get overseas and fast. There is absolutely no reason to play him over Rozier or Hunter, they're already better than him.
