with kelly just coming back and clumsy again
without jerebko's lateral movement and size and his threat of hitting 3 and his spacing floor made this game mission impossible-amir doesn't fall with style,it's almost frightening-JAMES YOUNG IS USELESS and that not talking about offence-smart had no help without crowder/jerebko and westbrook just flashed through with no bigs reacting-6-7 coty clarke can hit the three and has some strength
where was jerebko i didn't see him on the bench
zeller can't create last year he had a rhythm to where and how he took his shots they became almost automatic but any alteration he seems to freeze
losing crowder/ jerebko also was just too much to overcome-

not one reference to jerebko being out  -this team is so linked when multiple players go down or one comes back-its not just the time missed its the time playing at not 100%-
so kelly, wasn't the kelly we lost,he had trouble finishing and his game was awkward, just think back to other night and jerebkos increased production and his switching and lateral movement-his rebounding and keeping balls alive-i have not seen his absence mentioned in any articles or tv presentations-

This could be the first time in his life that anyone has ever said "Jerebko was important to have any chance".

This could be the first time in his life that anyone has ever said "Jerebko was important to have any chance".

actually brad said it after indiana loss -"we need jerebko to be good especially down the stretch"
"as long as the pair are absent jerebko knows his value is high"
"he is the one remaining player who enable the celts to play small and stretch the floor"

just found these quotes-thanks for sarcasm

But clearly not along the lines of no Jerebko = no chance.

I do not think Coty Clark made any threes. To be honest, I don't think we were playing all that well even before Jae went down. We were just able to find a few ways to win down the stretch. Almost time to hit the Drapes "panic button". If this team does not come alive soon we might be lucky to see the Cavs in the first round.

coty hit his first shot a three from the corner against indiana-he has shot the three well in maine-

IMPORTANT to have any chance-

this was written after the fact and brad said even with crowder everyone would have to play well-
without jerebko who scored 17pts against indiana and is second best 3 point shooter
-tell me would the celts have had a better chance with jerebko or james young-young can't hit a three and plays matador defense AND can't dribble
,marcus mired in three ball slump  ,kelly nowhere near ready--if you want to get bogged down in semantics instead of gist of post feel free
-amir cant shoot a three ,turner can't shoot a three,zeller can't shoot a three-
kelly's not ready-
-who can stretch the floor, play defense, rebound ,switch and hustle and is 6-10
-take away chrowder and jerebko who you got to stretch the floor and play small
with crowder out the loss of jerebko was magnified and disrupted defense and offence-

Rollie shines yet again as one of the best CelticsBlog bloggers leaving his critics dumbfounded. Now is not the time to panic. We're currently lumped in with a group competing for the third seed. Olynyk may not be as rusty tomorrow night at Toronto. Brad might have finally had enough and will experiment better with Jordan. Jerebko is not great, but he fills a need that all of a sudden we are depleted in. Lighten up, Francis.

We can compete with the Raptors. They are not as imposing as Cleveland. Then it gets much easier with a game at Philly. Everyone should take a breather. Any playoff success will feel like gravy. Danny is in the driver's seat with the Brooklyn pick. We have become major players.

It's too bad, but Amir has old man's feet and Sully refuses to get into shape. They are hoding us back, not Zeller. Although he is a disappointment after last year. These could be our last games watching him play.

Zeller hurts us because he is incompetent at times on defense. I bet he has been in a slump on offense. He is what he is. Guys like Olynyk, Sullinger, Marcus Smart, even Jerebko are wild cards.

Where is Colton Iverson when you need him?

Without Jerebko or Crowder we have lost the ability to play small ball since we don't have any small ball 4's left.

I'd like to see Olynyk and Mickey be our bench bigs.

I expect the C's to add a 3/4 swingman to the team in the offseason.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19
