I think we need to all take our green goggles off for a minute and think logically.

You've got to ask the question, where can Durant find a situation better than having Ibaka (borderline All-Star) and Westbrook (top 5 player) and the answer is no where except Warriors. My personal belief is Warriors won't do that deal simply because they will lose what makes them great; their depth. I also think OKC will never win a title as long as the Spurs and Warriors are there, so KD is really stuck but even if we had Boogie i don't think it's a better situation than Ibaka and Westbrook.

I just want to point out both Cleveland and the Thunder are more talented than the Warriors. The Warriors just play well together and have great coaching/system, something both teams lack.

Signing Horford in free agency alongside Durant. He's already made it known to people close to him that Horford would be someone who he'd like to play with, and Horford is an excellent fit at the center position for us.
PG: Smart, IT, Rozier
SG: Bradley, Turner, Hunter
SF: Crowder, JJ, Young
PF: Durant, Mickey
C: Horford, KO

Add in our rookies or whoever we'd trade the pick(s) for, and that's the favorite to come out of the East.

think we would have to release JJ and Turner to have enough room to add Horford and KD

IT             / Smart
AB            / Hunter
Crowder   / Jaylen Brown or Simmons or Ingram
Durant      / Mickey
Horford     / KO

Though we would likely trade the pick and Ko Smart/AB for a 3rd star (Griffin,Love,Cousins,Hayward, Butler)

This details how we could do it pretty well. Looks like we could either keep JJ, sign all of our picks, or keep Turner.

Where did you hear that?
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

I think it was on some vertical podcast or something, not sure. But I've heard that a few times as well
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

It was on a Zach Lowe podcast. I'm not sure which one, but the article I read it from said he was pretty confident in the sources. Here's the article:

That is an excellent and frequently overlooked point. TP.
