Guys the way we played tonight, I seriously doubt KD considers us. Though, let's be honest: he likely never was going to consider us.

I doubt he'll base his decision on one game.

For the sake of the season and our playoff goals and our offseason goals and free agency goals and long term future of the franchise, I hope you're right.

I'm with Rondo9 on this one.  Not only will he not base his decision on one game, he will be most interested in what other elite stars he could play with if he came here.  Right now, the C's don't have one so the current team's performance is pretty much irrelevant.

Sometimes we forget each of these star players is an individual in their own right. Durant is the anti-Cousins, he seems to be level headed, respectful, and family orientated. 

Do we have a shot at signing him? The beating we received last night didn't help the cause. But I think we have an outside shot. (I'm sure the opportunity of playing with Tyler Zeller has him intrigued.  )

Works for me. I'd take KD over Westbrook 100 times out of 100. He seems like a better fit for the Lakers.

This also assumes Westbrook can carry a team on his own. Russel and Randle cannot replace what KD and even Ibaka bring to the team.

After 48 hours of exhilaration when Kevin Durant gave Celtics fans hope that he'd come to Boston, it appears KD was just being polite.
