Quote
Kevin Durant was asked about the city of Boston ahead of Wednesday's game against the Celtics.

The Celtics will have maximum cap space available to sign Durant but they're considered a longshot.

“I like the city a lot,” said Durant. “It’s cold, but they love sports here. It’s a family atmosphere I feel when I walk around the city, so yeah, I like it a lot.”

Durant hasn't played a game in Boston since Nov. 23, 2012 due to various injuries over the past few seasons.

“It’s been a while, right?” he said. “Before this game, I was hoping everything goes well our last game so I can finally play here.

“It’s been three years since I played here, so I’m really looking forward to it. Some of the best fans in the world, and they definitely support their team, so I’m looking forward to it.”

Guys the way we played tonight, I seriously doubt KD considers us. Though, let's be honest: he likely never was going to consider us.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

I good showing in the playoffs in a wide open East or what that lottery pick turns into will weigh far more than a short handed regular season performance.

I doubt he'll base his decision on one game.

Yea but still. This was embarrassing.

For the sake of the season and our playoff goals and our offseason goals and free agency goals and long term future of the franchise, I hope you're right.

He's actually considering it I think. Which is exciting, still doubt it happens. I think Love was closer to come but fell in Lebron's web, same thing will happen with Durant, yet they deep down know it's best for them to come to Boston!

We will probably need another big name in order to lure Durant to the C's (just like KG back in 08). I doubt Horford would be enough.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
