I unfortunately think it will be Turner. You might as well cross JJ off of the list, because Brad has already said it won't be him.

Even though Turner is more valuable coming off the bench I think it will be him starting. If he doesn't start then he most likely will finish the games, taking into account who we're playing (the SF's) and it may be asking too much for Marcus to guard them for a lot of minutes.

I missed that one. Then I don't see Marcus starting ahead of Turner (even though I did vote for Turner), with the size of the SF we'll be playing in the next several games (George, Durant, Carroll).

It would have to be Turner, with RJ Hunter being the beneficiary of more minutes in the sub-rotation.

I think it'll be Marcus.

Turner, despite his size and position listing, is our primary backup ball handler and will need to keep time-sharing with Isaiah.

Especially heading into playoffs, we'd be well-served not to over-play Thomas as a result of this injury.

or do we not disturb the bench chemistry and start young?

That's what I'd do. He's played decent defense and team ball when he got some minutes earlier in the year. Throw him out there and see what he can do with 15-20 minutes a game. Time to see whether or not these kids sink or swim.

I think it's Turner. Smart could start at the 3 against most teams, but I don't see him guarding Paul George - PG will just shoot over him.

Marcus Smart will start in place of injured Jae Crowder. Brad Stevens says he "blends well with Isaiah and Avery.

Wow. I see foul trouble early for Smart trying to guard the much taller George.

Paul George would baptize James Young.

i predict that CBS will start evan all mighty. a related and interesting question is who will be coming off the bench when turner sits to rest?

well, slap me silly and call me stupid. this is what comes from posting before reading a thread.  :P

ha, ha...regardless, i think rozier will benefit and get off the bench first among the kiddie corps. but then again, reread my initial post and take my opinion with a boulder of salt.  ;D

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

They just announced they are starting Smart.

I assume to keep Turners playmaking on the second line.
