Pardon me if this subject has been discussed before, but with Crowder out this is a golden opportunity to see what Young and/or Hunter can do. I say you've got to start one of these guys, because a) you need Turner in the 2nd unit alongside smart, and b) Jerebko has been playing more PF than SF these days. Basically, take a kid from your deep bench and see what they've got and don't mess with your rotation otherwise.

I personally am excited about it. Those kids should be ready, at least for a 2-week period, to step in and play some significant minutes. Let's see.

I 100% agree with this point. But I don't see Brad starting Young or Hunter against Pacers and Thunder but i believe by the game against the Raptors (3/18) he will likely have one of these players starting. The C's know what they have in Young and Hunter but going the Pop route over the next two weeks will give the fans a nice extended look at these young players.

Agree, much rather we play guys who have shown they deserve it, meaning Rozier and Mickey.  Hunter and Young have played poorly even at Maine.  Can't play all 4 unless we're tanking.

No, this isn't what Pop would do! Pop would have been playing these kids regular minutes all season, to get them ready to step into a starting gig, when the need arose.  What have our kids done, play 3-4 minutes in the last six weeks or so.  Now you expect them to play well with big minutes?  Not happening, cause BS won't do it!  Expect 35-40 minutes from ET, alot of MS at the three, and more JJ.  Not playing the kids regularly all season has been my biggest gripe with BS, and now it's gonna come back to haunt us.  Next couple of weeks gonna be ugly!

I expect them to start Turner, but have him be the first to sub out. That way you can bring him back for most of the 2nd unit minutes.

I'd rather see Rozier than RJ/Young off the bench too. Sure RJ/Young have better size, but neither is good enough defensively to defend a quality NBA SF. So if neither are good enough to defend Crowder's position, I'd rather have Marcus slide to the 3 off the bench and have Rozier come in with him at the 2.
