Sure it was the 3rd game in 4 nights. They played the night before.  They were probably gassed.

CLE wanted payback too.   We were killing them for a bit, so maybe we got tired but we did not start the game the way.   We had a 17 point lead.

Cle was on a back to back also.  Can't blame it on being tired imho.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
We can blame it on blowing an 18 point lead in the matter of a couple of minutes. I think our guys are all a bit tired and these couple of days off should help, but they have a lot of work left to do if they want to show a true improvement on last year's team.

I bet the Refs were also playing on the back end of a back to back as well.

They were exhausted...climb on plane fly to Ohio .....very little prep....if any I bet....brutal effort to comeback on the Knicks .....fly to Cleveland ..."meet a rested James and Love .....who had an easy blow out at home night before to a hapless wizards squad.

They were rested, ready to put a distance the Celtics couldn't close in the final minutes .

The Celtics could have won, just was a very slim chance. The deck was stacked against them really bad .

Was not suprized , upset of the outcome.......it was a trap game landing into the clutches of the stars trying to regroup from their tweets , whining and constant drama

Cleveland had a back to back, but theirs was an easy home win. We had to travel.

Ultimately the advantage wsa Clevelands. We were a bit more tired. It was away.

That being said, it isnt any excuse. In fact for me, its the reason the loss was dissapointing. Cleveland wouldnt have had any excuse and we would have real reason to believe we can beat them in a series. It didnt happen.

They took care of business. We did not.
