For Chief ... it 's a "MUST"

You know it. Max contract!

Seriously,  at some point we have to upgrade our talent and then let the superior talent be coached by CBS.

Cbs coaching has made Crowder, Turner, It4, Bradley... all better player. What could he do with a superstar?

First goal is to get superstar type talent. We've got the money and draft picks to cash in on 1 or 2. Then we can worry about the bench players like Turner.
Kevin Durant's future playing for Brad Stevens -

I would make an all out effort to get him here.  Rick Barnes, Brooks, Donovan? - to achieve their full potential/cement their legacy etc, great players still need good coaching.  That's your sales pitch.

Depends on the price.

If he commands more than $10 million per, I think we have to let him walk. I love what he brings, and I love what his role is. I think he can flourish in that 6th man, Swiss army knife role, but paying him 8 figures is probably paying him too much.

Love to retain him, somewhere at a Jae Crowder type contract.

He will not be offered more than Crowder.  3 years, 7mil avg, perfect deal.

Depends on if we view trying to develop and integrate any of these players we picked in the last couple of drafts as any kind of priority.

I agree with that.  Remember, we have Rozier, Hunter, and Young all sitting on the bench and/or in Maine.

On top of that, what's the long term plan here with rotational minutes?  If the plan is to bring another scoring wing in, keep Thomas, Bradley, and Crowder, and continue to give Smart significant minutes, where does that leave Turner?

Now of course, we could make some big trades that would change that all and there's something to be said about retaining Turner as a future trade chip, but we should also think about long term logistics here before signing him to a long term deal.

I wouldn't sign him for more than what Crowder or Avery make, but I would try to keep him if possible.

I wouldn't .  He is going to want 10 million a year at least

Maybe we draft Hield or Valentine.  Both can take Turner's spot and for a cheaper price

I would offer a 3 yr 10 mil per deal .

He is a very good 6th man , and we likely have enough room to sign 2 max contracts .

If he is too much to sign 2 max players too then let him walk .

I think we will probably bring him back. It all depends on how much he wants and if we can pick up someone better. I still think Rondo will get a look this summer. He does a lot of the same things as ET.

Absoutely no way in hell. None. Rondo comes back. Complete opposite of what Cs are trying to do.

I do agree you can get a similar skilled playmaker (like Rondo) to ET with better 3pt range though.

he is a big factor for us coming off the bench. I can see him earning 10-13 million this offseason.

Would a bench player making 10-13 mil a year cause tension in the locker room?
IT, JC, AB all make 7-8 mil a year.
Not saying it would but you'd have to wonder..

You'd have to assume IT, JC, and AB will all make a lot more than 10-13 million on their next contract (Turner getting 10-13 million is only a result of the new TV deal, a year or two ago he's only worth ~7-8 million).
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I like him but I would not.  Unless the price is really good.

I hope Smart gets more of a chance to handle the ball and hopefully we bring in or are working on bringing in players that can handle the ball and make plays.

Yes, if we get Durant AND Butler Turner may not be needed, however it all depends what we give up for Butler.  Say if we get the first or second pick that may be all we need to get Butler.  However if it's say the 5th pick we may need to include Bradley or Smart. Bradley in particular may not be necessary with Butler on board, however then maybe Turner can play some backup 2 minutes along at the 3, with Crowder also playing some backup minutes at the 3 and 4.  Something like:

Thomas 33 MPG, Smart, 20 MPG,
Butler 33 MPG, Turner 20 MPG
Durant 35 MPG, Crowder 25 MPG
Sully 20 MPG
Horford 28 MPG, KO 26 MPG

I'm just spitballing minutes but all this comes out to 48 minutes per position with us playing small ball a lot.  If Bradley is willing to play more of a backup role it could possibly work in place of Turner.
